Heads Up Everyone...

Well, I can't say about anything else but you will get buttload of domaining information inside the walled gardens. Now I am not comfortable discussing all that stuff outside the exclusive club at DNf because if it becomes public, it is no longer "insider information". Sure, you can't expect me to give out everything -- but you will find me talking about lot more stuff than I do now.

Once subscription is levied, there're expectations of higher quality

I've never seen this happen in any free forum that became a paid membership forum and I've been involved in several. Maybe the affiliate marketing niche is different since there may be some actual, measurable, dollar amount value to what's being talked about. Hobby, political, and entertainment boards I've seen go this route, primarily to keep out noobs and trolls, became a shadow of their former selves within a few months, a year tops.

Three levels is what he said:
1) free - bash-a-thons and all that. ANY level members can STILL POST STUFF, so free users MAY STILL GET SOME STUFF TOSSED THEIR WAY..

2) Private - be able to speak your mind about new ideas you have. Reading posts without 1-Post-Wonders saying "I heared of Add Cents, How Can I Git Rich Drinkin' BEER?!?!"

3) The heavy-hitters - someplace I aspire to get to some day... Valhalla!

Ads within Level 2? Damn right, think REAL WSO's (speak their language so they understand). Great deals ONLY for the WF folk. Rather than someone posting every day "I write content" or "I create landingpages" or "I have PR links to sell!", they can put it in an ad, which 1) may have better ROI (more face time) and 2) keeps the 'noise' posts down.

Just my $0.02 (to be subtracted from my first months payment! :-) )

Won't be long now....

Wow, I really look forward to being able to pay money for more of this:

While I might not be able to contribute a lot of knowledge to the paid section when it comes, I will certainly gladly pay to be there reading and learning and contributing what I can.....only problem with that is 95% of what I know came from reading here and gettin off my ass and testing till I got it right. If it were not for this forum and its members I would still be stuck around $100 a month :( .......I get that a day now.

i didn't want to bring this up for fear of ban but i think this will happen. look at seoblackhat forums, granted it didn't start off as free. it was lively for a bit but now you can hear a pin drop in there. it'd be a shame if WF followed the same trend, which is why i think it should stay free.

maybe you could have a paid membership to get discounts on tools and designs.

The flipside is that any idea mentioned here is getting picked up by anyone wanting to attempt to turn a quick buck because the info is free and easy to find. For example, what happened with poll based email/zip submits or with Facebook. Protecting that kind of money making info with an entry barrier, at least for a while, makes some sense. Paying for entry is a little more 'democratic' than an invitation-only secret clique. And, as I mentioned, since this is about business that actually makes money instead of wasting time arguing politics, celebs/TV shows, or music it might work out better than sites I've had experiences with in the past.

page not found.

effin' page not found. all the effen time.
You've got to agree with that - its not often I pay for something which doesn't work :)

Why not do something like WSP - where you have to have a certain amount of posts, or contribute something to the site (script, article) and then pay a small monthly fee.

I don't see how charging a fee is going to keep newbies out - newbies have cash too, although I can see the benefits of things like the Facebook thread.

Personally... I've never paid for anything I couldn't talk my way into, and as you are a jew jon and well known for your love of barttering... I offer you $10 per month for my 0.34 post per day.

What do you reckon?

I dont like $25 a month since now webmasterradio.fm wants to do the same thing.

But I swear I never get page not founds. Even on crappy "borrowed" wifi connections from quarter mile away.

yeah, just go ahead and charge it in $ ........they are worth NOTHING :)

but the idea itself is ok, many german communities lost sooo much in quality, cause every stupid fuckhead with internet connections comes in..... that sucks so much

that type of info should never have been posted in the first place, look at facebook, that guy shot his entire foot off by posting! i've never seen a paid forum that could keep its info a secret, it always leaks out.

Ok, so this is happening on Monday. WF is based in New York, so midnight EST?

Any news on pricing yet?

I've been aware of internet marketing for about 4 months now. In that time I've found a boat load of information ranging from the fucking retarded (a certain forum of warriors) to the overgeeked and useless (webmasteruniverse).

And here I find... some actual fucking information.

So there's a choice to be made. If you can't hack making decisions, McDonalds has a management program to take all thought out of your day. And they'll pay you literally hundreds of dollars a year to not think.

So, where's the real money made?

Just like in any business, the real deals are made in dark alleys and behind the scenes. You can wish it wasn't so, pray it wasn't so, even shout that it isn't so, but you're still just whining and wishing if you do.

This forum is just a place where people come to hang out: some of them are doers and some of them are YOU AND ME.

You can bet all the money that you aren't actually making that if you haven't gotten a PM or email from someone with some special information, a technique, a question or a trick, it's because you aren't part of the club. You only get to be part of the club by knowing what the fuck you're doing.

You only get to know what you're doing by using the information in places like this and recognizing the incredible generosity of those who do know and have a soft spot for those who don't know and share.

The information in this forum is worth millions to any and all who would take the time to read and apply it. Not millions per day, but if you don't see the long term value in what is freely available here, you aren't capable of running a business, which means you aren't allowed in the fucking club. Also, don't breed; the world doesn't need your ignorant fucking useless spawn taking up perfectly useable air and resources. You aren't special. The fruit of your fucking loins isn't special. Congratulations, your ovaries or testicles function. That makes you one of... everything on the fucking planet.

Is this me? Yes. I include myself because I'm not making millions yet, but there is ZERO doubt in my mind that I will because of what I've learned here in the last few weeks.

Paying for access would be worth it, but the reality is that those in the club don't need to pay for access and those without access couldn't buy their way in regardless of what they pay. You gotta earn it.

This price hike is a way to weed out those who aren't in the club... which oddly means everyone who isn't already in the club or -- and here's the really fucking important part of this post so wake up -- SHOWING SOME GOD DAMNED POTENTIAL FOR CONTRIBUTION.

Yup. That's right. You have to show some promise of being worth the effort of the people who already know what you want to know. If you show promise, they'll help you. If you show that you're a fucktard... you'll end up paying a monthly fee.

If you don't like the price tag, it's because you aren't MEANT to like it. If you like it, you'll never actually have to pay.

This is the secret key to the kingdom:

Like the changing room of the opposite sex in high school, you don't belong here unless you can find YOUR OWN FUCKING WAY IN.

/rant off

I'll pay. I'll hate it, but I understand that I don't deserve to be here; I have to earn the right to be here. You either earn it or pay for it. If you think you can do it any other way... :error:
