7 Day Juicing Fast

Juice Fasting is a pure absurdity and all the buzz about it probably just a good lobbying campaign.

Today, the fresh juice business, including juice fasts, is worth $5 billion and growing, and indie cleanses like the one Bourus tried are being crowded out by scores of bigger players targeting young women with three- to 10-day programs of blended fruit and vegetable drinks and little to no solid food.

The solution to become healthy start from understanding what is a good diet, understanding what kind of solid food your body needs and fit's your macro. It's simple.

Except if you want to be all your life on a Juice Fasting if you don't fix your diet overweight problem will start again and again.

Ashton Kutcher talks about physically preparing to play Steve Jobs - UPI.com

U.S. actor Ashton Kutcher says he was briefly hospitalized after adopting the fruitarian diet favored by the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Joshua Michael Stern, director of the bio-picture "jOBS," said during a recent New York news conference the 35-year-old actor lost between 15 and 18 pounds by eating only fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds during his preparation to play the titular tech visionary, who died of cancer in 2011 at the age of 56.

Asked to elaborate on his trip to the hospital, Kutcher, who was sitting beside Stern at the news conference, explained: "My insulin levels got pretty messed up and my pancreas kind of went into some crazy -- I don't know -- the levels were really off and it was really painful. I didn't know what was wrong. And we figured out that my insulin levels were really off."

The purpose of a juice fast isn't too lose weight, it's to help reset the digestive system - especially for much of the public out there who never gives it a break from the constant crap in the western diet.

Steve Jobs has been criticized that his various and "extreme" plant based diets he adhered to most of his life still didn't prevent him from an early death.

His BIO didn't cover this, but there is a theory that his diet extended his battle from cancer which likely started in his 20's.

Here is the analysis from Dr. John McDougall:
