Cheap Korean ips screens

Do you fuckers not use credit cards to buy shit? Just charge that shit back after 15 days of non-delivery. I contact chinese "customer service" once then just charge that shit back.

While it's on topic... Can someone who knows about monitors tell me what's wrong with this one ( LG 27EA33V-B 27in Widescreen IPS LED LCD w/ HDMI at Memory Express ) ?

It's going to be like $200 tomorrow as a daily deal, and I don't know what all those numbers mean. It seems crazy cheap, so I'm just wondering what I'm sacrificing compared to a $600 or $1000 screen.

Cheers!

edit: Just noticed the resolution is 1920 x 1080, might be low for a 27 inch? Halp

Some people dislike that res on a 27 but I don't mind it. If they are dropping to $200 I think that's a darn good deal for a 27 IPS from a notable brand.

Was interested until I saw their policy on defective units.

I want a monitor, not a lottery ticket...

IPS is the shit tho. You won't even believe how yellow your whites are until you've seen it side by side.

how about the fact they are now $849 instead of $300 - lol

I definitely wouldn't, my 22" is the same resolution, 1920 is pretty low for a monitor that size.

This dude has some pretty awesome prices on these monitors and offers pixel perfect LCDs for ~40 bucks more. Definitely worth it IMO.

I was planning on buying two Dell 2713HMs, but since my friend pulled the trigger on a Crossover Blacktune, which I will be test driving for a few days, I think I may end up buying a couple of these Korean monitors.

The reviews on the newer LCDs are overwhelmingly positive and the prices are great. I will save about 500 USD on my two LCD purchase going with two of these over the Dells.

I bought a crossover 27q over a year ago and it's the best thing I ever bought.

1 dead pixel and I can't even see it unless I inspect it meticulously. It's not like a dead pixel on a regular monitor...the pixels are soooo small you can't see it.

Setting here reading this thread on an X-star brand 27-inch monitor that was purchased through eBay. $279.00

OUTSTANDING MONITOR!!!

Only purchased it through eBay because of a series of threads on an overclocking site going into great detail about the displays and how to buy them. These monitors will not work with most "on the board" video cards and X-star required an adapter for the plug that I found at Fry's.

I am not as young as most of you guys and have tired old eyes that were straining to read the old (but nice) CRT monitor. But this baby makes my eyes feel 30 years younger (maybe more).

Seriously the X-star has really made it easier to work at the computer.

One bad point! After using this thing for a few days when out and purchased a Galaxy S3...just had to have that big pretty screen.
