Last year Hobbster got one. It was a limited edition orange with a metallic stripe down the middle. The exhuasts were cone shaped, and the seats were stiched with traffic cone pattern print. Even the badges were traffic cones.
That is the type of dream every man dreams of.

There is a nice informal community of WF people on Facebook, mostly through people befriending each other.
There is no guru bullshit, no mentally retarded tagging, and people generally behave themselves (Jeffrey I saw you tell me to fuck off last night before you deleted it).

FB is like a portal into the ego's of friends and family. Everyone only displays the idealized image of themselves. It's pathetic to watch, and because things you post on FB can have a direct social impact on your REAL LIFE, people tend to play it safe.
It's sad to watch people you KNOW are unhappy and depressed put on this whole show on their FB profiles in order to rack up those "likes" and attention. It's the whole Keeping Up With the Joneses shtick but even more superficial and dishonest.
I actually did a little social experiment. I decided to only post the most emotionally/intellectually honest statuses I possibly could. You know... really bare my soul and express my honest thoughts on the world, politics, society, relationships etc. No filters. And the crazy thing is people started respecting me more in my real life. Coming up to me and saying shit like, "Bro, that was some real shit you posted the other day." In addition, I realized more of my peers and family became increasingly comfortable airing their dirty laundry around me because it's apparent I didn't have much of an ego to guard, and was therefore less likely to judge them.
Sure, I got some people talking behind my back. But these are people I don't associate with regularly and who are some of the most mind-numbing sheeple you could possibly encounter.
So idk. For me, it doesn't make sense to compare WF and FB, considering most everyone here (expect some "inner-circles") are anonymous. There's less social risk here, but more to learn. And more stimulating discussions than on FB for sure.

Facebook was designed to destroy that freedom, and to this day they keep tightening those screws repeatedly.
