I thought they were going to go after Quinn, if not Greg Roman. One or the other will be done with the season after next week.
I figured he would goto the lions. Stafford can be a really good QB, he has the best WR in the game. Bush seems to be gaining confidence as well. I guess the problem for Ken is the fact they need to improve their defence and that isnt his area.
Lions are a classic example of how hard it is to succeed in the NFL. They put all the pieces they wanted together (more than a few teams envied their skill on both sides of the ball) - then they proceed to crap out hard. I don't know their personnel situation off hand, but i do know things change fast. A transition year with the new coach might easily mean the core of this year/last year will be gone in 2015. Back to the drawing board.
Thank God they didn't take Quinn. I welcome any team who wants to hire Bevel away from the Hawks, but leave Dan Quinn alone.

Lions are going to get Caldwell, who will be much more successful than Whisenhunt. The only things keeping the Lions from challenging for the Norris yearly are the lack of discipline and Stafford playing like Free Wheeling Franklin all the snaps. Schwartz leaving should clean up the sloppy mentality/play, Staff's success rests squarely between his ears.
umm... what game were you watching? you think the Saints "beat the fuck out of the Seahawks"? lol
Ask the Seattle WRs. Saints were supposed to be the weakest defense in the postseason. They brought it and at no point was that game a Seahawks rout. You find it impossible to credit losing team's defense? Are you one of these guys who understand the game purely through a fantasy perspective? Do tits gross you out?
They were 4th in overall D coming into the playoffs. Only team to be top 5 in O and D. They definitely brought it, probably the best #6 seed in history considering most teams to finish top 5 in offense and defense play in or win Super Bowls. I'm not sure who wasn't respecting them but they scared the shit out of me coming back to Seattle for the second time in 6 weeks.
Jokes aside, Seattle/SF game is going to come down to who makes less mistakes and who wants it more. Should be the best game of the year yet.
