Shawn Hogan sentenced to 5 months in prison



LOL sounds like a lot of informed people here about federal prison.
All they got him on was wire fraud. Half the white collar guys are in for wire fraud or mail fraud. It is the catch all for when they can get you with nothing else. First time offender, even with that high a dollar amount is looking at a camp. The thought of doing it is a greater drain on him then the act of doing it.
 
He was the number 2 AdSense earner in 2013. What's that, like $400K a Month? Dat bitch can pull an Escobar and build his own prison.
 
How does cookie stuffing work in the modern age?

Good old 1´1 iframe in pixel seize is probably not working any more...

This has been dragging on for years, no doubt stressing him the fuck out. Once you're sentenced there is some apprehensions about what to expect when you get inside, but for the most part you're relieved that all the court shit is over.

Worrying about prison is worse than prison itself, at least when you're talking about a little 5 month stay. But like someone else said, if he isn't careful that 5 months could turn into 20 years real easy...
 
This the same guy that only got caught cause he was telling others publicly on forums how to do it? Or was that a diff cookie stuffing case? (Can't imagine there are multiple but eh)

So he gets a 5 month workshop on making money and the knowledge of how not to get caught next time. (Learning from how others were caught, how they were caught, etc)
