I agree with everything you said but, when watching those fucking idiots running after dog I would like to shot them dead. All of them. That dog on this movie wasn't aggressive, it was just fun for him. The guy who got bitten is just a moron who is using his leg as a dog toy. The other guy at 1.12 is trying to have conversation with the dog or something?... nice. Are you honestly comparing yourself to your dogs? If you don't have full control over your dogs, who will?
I can't believe you're content with the fact that your dogs don't take orders from you.
Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, but I think there be stricter regulations for owning dogs. In fact I think there should be a license required, renewable yearly, and to get this license you need to show that your dog is well behaved, as well as provide some positive references from people in your neighborhood.
I've seen too many misbehaved dogs doing stupid shit like this and their "master" having zero control over them:
PITBULL DOG ATTACKS LIVE!! HD 2014 - YouTube
In fact I *almost* got attacked by 2 dogs while walking on the street late at night a few years ago. Thank god I got into my car across the street quick enough. They were running at me showing teeth and barking aggressively, their master was calling them but they wouldn't listen... I'm assuming they thought I was a threat cuz I was too close to their yard? Who the fuck knows, but I wasn't pissed at the dogs as much as I was pissed at their owner.
I had a dog that was trained to bring me cigs from another room (to my desk in different room). I had it from beginning and it was a very smart dog. Now I have one from the shelter that is about 7 years old, he was three years in shelter and one year in dog hotel. I got it around 5 months now and he already knows basic commands. Still a lot work to do but, it's a great dog.
