If the Canadian gov't openly called for the destruction of the US, lobbed rockets at the US daily, continuously sent its troops over the border in raiding parties to kill or kidnap Americans, and encouraged its people to engage in acts of terrorism against US civilians and military targets, what do you think would happen?
When I was a kid my father told me to never start a fight. However, if someone were to punch me I was to beat his ass into the dirt, using any tactics necessary to win the fight, so he couldn't punch me a second time. When someone comes at you with force, a meek response isn't going to deter them. You need to pummel them into submission so they can't or won't do it again. This holds true whether it be a school yard fist fight, or war.
If the Palestinian people want to live in peace they should elect new leadership and stop attacking Israelis. It does not appear they want to live in peace though, since they keep terrorists as their leaders, continuously launch rockets at Israel, continuously sent armed raiding parties into Israel to kill or kidnap Israelis, and encourage their civilians to carry out armed attacks.
When they do, Israel always responds disproportionately to their aggression, as they should when dealing with acts of war/terrorism. You'd think the Palestine people would be aware of this by now, and do something to change their ways, but they don't.
If they don't want to live in peace, they'll live in pieces instead.

Then when the IDF invades, the rockets from Hamas will start firing again, and it'll be, "omg, we need to stop the rockets... more incursion needed!", and on, and on, and on. Really, you don't see what's happening?
They probably do it over and over to incite israels reaction fatbat. They want a body count to create international outage which they might think will put the screws to israel and somehow wind up being advantageous to their cause. But if the last incursion didn't do the trick I dunno why they think another one will.

Absolutely, but it's hard to get much sympathy when they behave the way they do. Over 4000 rockets fired into Israel so far this year. Open calls for violent attacks on Israeli civilians. People celebrating in the streets.

It's terrorism and it's not close to being a one off.
This is a clever way for the leadership to provoke Israel into retaliating without actually having to get their hands dirty themselves. They call on their citizens to attack and martyr themselves, so when Israel retaliates they say "but it wasn't us". It's all about the PR blame game that they are playing so well.
Plus the irony of UG's link is that even when Israel is supposedly doing false flag operations they don't blow things up when there is someone there, they do it at night after everyone is gone. Great example of the brutality of the regime.
