When I was a kid my father told me to never start a fight. However, if someone were to punch me I was to beat his ass into the dirt, using any tactics necessary to win the fight, so he couldn't punch me a second time. When someone comes at you with force, a meek response isn't going to deter them. You need to pummel them into submission so they can't or won't do it again. This holds true whether it be a school yard fist fight, or war.

If the Palestinian people want to live in peace they should elect new leadership and stop attacking Israelis. It does not appear they want to live in peace though, since they keep terrorists as their leaders, continuously launch rockets at Israel, continuously sent armed raiding parties into Israel to kill or kidnap Israelis, and encourage their civilians to carry out armed attacks.

When they do, Israel always responds disproportionately to their aggression, as they should when dealing with acts of war/terrorism. You'd think the Palestine people would be aware of this by now, and do something to change their ways, but they don't.

If they don't want to live in peace, they'll live in pieces instead.

There are terrorist organizations in Palestine openly calling for the destruction of Israel, and the civilian Palestinians have nothing to do with it. They just want to live regular lives and make gay WordPress blogs like the rest of us. Why should Israel rob them of this dream because they co-exist with terrorists?

It seems to me that Israel just doesn't have any respect for Palestinian lives. Terrorist or civilian, they don't give a flying fuck, it's all the same. The strategy is this: Let's just bomb them all till they finally bow down and admit we're the boss... yeah, great strategy...

the holocaust survivors came in and turned what was once a malaria ridden desert shithole into what it is today, then the arabs wanted to catch the rays of sunshine seeing all the success they had, set up shop and called themselves palestinians. they're the only wealthy nation in the middle east whose income is not directly derived and dependent on scarce natural resource. their contributions to human kind and society at large go way beyond what's in the average americans gas tank. the palestinians get no sympathy and surprisingly even if they were to get kicked out no arab nations would take them in with open arms

Lol yeah, by their own sweat and who knows how many trillions in aid from the US, UK, France and particularly Germany. To this day the 3rd generation after WW2 pay some lazy Israeli money.

It kind of is. I agree there's plenty to talk about. But if they want sympathies from the world or expect things to change for the better, they should be the ones putting the rocket launchers down first and stop celebrating terrorism/electing fuckers who couldn't care less about their well being in the long run.

It's a lot less than the media makes it out to be. Israelis are hungry as fuck though, if they can scale up some large tech companies they'll be on par with silicon valley in a decade. And it's not like they have a choice.
