This is fucked up. I don't care what you guys say about accepting other people, I'm pretty laid back about most shit but this is too strange, and you can bet that kid is going to be fucked up too.
I completely agree. It's revolting. Really make we wonder "what the fuck is happening to our country?" I didn't say that I accepted it, I just said the majority of people won't, it's weird.

I usually don't preach to anyone about their lifestyle, I'm laid back, I don't care about most of the shit people do but when they are going to bring another life into the world in this fucked up situation I have to say wtf...
I know a few kids in transgendered and same gendered parental relationships, and they are all perfectly normal. I don't worry about the kids family life, but rather the way people (just like most of you on this forum) would treat him / her just for growing up in a atypical family structure.

I remember going to school with a little girl that mixed races (black/white) and she was so beautiful and I said 'mommy shelly is so pretty, I wish I was like her" and my mom was like, "no you don't! She's going to have a hard life, I would never wish that life on anyone" Ofcourse, I was like wha? But I remember thinking about it through the years and thinking, the only thing that would be hard would be the way that ignorant people would treat her, so she would hopefully she would just surrond herself with loving accepting people.
The great thing is now adays no one would even blink with her situation, maybe it will be like that one day for people like this family.

Gender issues are always going to be the last frontier on intolerance. Accepting homosexuality is pretty easy compared to accepting something that is a genetic abnormality.
Why?
Because it's programmed into our own genes to be fearful of something that is clearly genetically abnormal. It could potentially damage the gene pool.
Admittedly, we can easily be beyond that on an intellectual level, but our first subconscious reaction will always be to recoil, because it is somewhat freakish.
Now, I know several people that have gender issues.
Some are quite clearly born the wrong gender for them (i.e. VERY masculine women, VERY feminine men)... So I say good for them when they change their parts around. Finally they'll have the right part for their body chemistry.
But even I find it a little odd that someone that clearly identifies as being male, has a build that suggests they have and have always had a substantially more male set of hormones (women don't get shoulders & jawlines like that, even with hormone treatments... you have to grow up that way), and has had an operation to become a male, is now putting so much stock in doing what is biologically a female role.

It's obviously a pregnant woman, living as a "man" on the exterior, who has made headlines because, well.. The fucking headlines are calling her a preganant MAN, as if it's the newest exhibit of Ripley's, and who the fuck wants to miss that? everyone wants to see a 9 ft tall amazon woman, or lobsterboy.. so you click, and you see just another bearded woman.. who happens to be pregnant..... what a fucking letdown.

Hermaphroditic or now know intersexed people sometimes don't have the choice on the gender. Typically and unfortunately at birth the gender is decide for them by the parents and doctors before the kids is mature enough to display gender signs.
