People are stupid on the internet. I know this, and you know this... but jesus christ... Basically i have a little health blog I update every so often when i feel like it. Promoted some offers, and these people complain to ME about being auto-billed or whatever. I should've never put a contact form on the site...

Now I gotta make a disclaimer to auto-reply with for these clowns.
 


You are 100% right. How hard is it to to notice the "We will bill your credit card $14.95 per month after the 15 day trial unless you choose to continue"? Fucking dumbasses.

Yeah i've had the same problem...someone wrote me an email entitled "Dear Internet Scamming Company..." lol

It was from my landing page, not even a blog. Never underestimate the power of ignorance.

The very exact same thing, my friend. We understand unlike many countries that we the people matter. Blue blood and such crap means nothing. You cannot glorify any human, only Jesus Christ if you will.
The people in the government work for us, even though they make a lot more and have the lifestyle most of their employers dream of. ;)

One of the reasons I love the U.S. is because I see people in high positions making mistakes while trying and eventually doing what is right.

McCain is very old. I do think that the age is not a good thing. But for the life of me, I cannot think of a better canditate for the next 4 years.

I am not a die hard republican. I would have voted for Lieberman if he didn have a competitor who is really what I want to see up there.

But the country needs to be back in order by someone who takes it seriously. And Obama is definitely NOT the one!

The reason nobody wants to be in politics is because you make A LOT LESS MONEY to do a job that is a huge fucking headache because you deal with all the stupid people and politics. The smart people run businesses - not government.

Bill Gates... thats the way to do it. Make more money than you could ever spend and then spend it on fixing the world.

BARMAN - why not make the "contact form" deliver the emails to somewhere funny... like the admin of an "recovering anorexic forum"

We have had plenty of great political debates lately on WF but can we please keep them to the designated threads? Geezus n00b, Barman was griping about stupid internet users, no need to get so far off topic.

Eh, put that if they have a problem with "company x" to contact them directly. Make it clear.

Alternatively just put an e-mail instead of a form and :blackhole: that shiznit. :D
 
I get that from landing pages. I guess that's the price you pay in making it look like the merchant page. People think you're the same people and I guess why shouldn't they the average person knows nothing about affiliate marketing.
 
My personal favorite is having like 5-6 links on a landing page to the merchant page, following a great review of a product, and still getting comments on the blog like "sounds awesome email me how to get it, thanks!!!!!!"

Incredible.
 
That's why I auto-forward my email to a gmail account that I never ever ever check for my list. Fuck 'em. I don't even use email anymore.
