Myspace Ads

I have been able to get a really good ROI so far, but Myspace pretty much refuses to let me scale my campaigns. It seems no matter what I raise my budget or bid prices to, there is absolutely no change in impressions. I have about 10 different campaigns running all to the same offer with the same ad copy, each campaign has a CTR between .1% and .16%. My budget for each campaign is $10k, and they are all set to run for 3 days.

I'm in the same boat. Took me a couple days to uncover a few profitable campaign & targeting combos, but once it took, I was getting plenty of volume for the first week (~250k impressions a day), .08-.12% CTR, with around a 40% ROI direct linking.

After about a week, traffic fell off a cliff. I've tried all the same as you. Maxed the budget, brought the # of days down, upped my bids, duped my campaigns, and nothing seems to work.

bummer :(

naw.. just sit there and look at it .. ya make a new campaign?.. what else would u do?

Pausing = dead campaign from my experience.

So, for those who are marketing offers at various time throughout the day, how do you guys accomplish that? Or you just let it run all day. It seems like certain offers are profitable at night rather than during the day.

I'm continuously pausing and running campaigns; getting the more or less the same amount of traffic daily. Just give the platform some leeway when starting campaigns - roughly an hour - so that there's a sufficient flow. Also, have several campaigns with the same creatives. At least a few will get clicks with the initial load of impressions. MySpace will then keep favouring those particular advertisements and send you clicks throughout the day.

Yea same here. I havn't had much of a difference from pausing.

This is fucking frustrating.

I get 151.000 impressions in 1 hour (10am - 11am PCT), the rest of the hours in that day (including the good hours in the afternoon) i get 5000 IN TOTAL.

Is it me or does their interface go down at least 3 times a day? Makes it tough to get anything done.

they got a lot of work to do in their ad approval guys.

"Other - Not Accepting this Type of Business."

LOL my other 3 campaigns are the exact same site/type.

What do you guys do once the ad is approved but wont kick start at all for a couple of days.

lol a few updates;

I have a pretty successful campaign going right now, with about a 100% ROI, the problem is scaling...not getting the clicks and impressions I need, so maybe I'll roll out some more campaigns.

and it's funny, because I see the ads that people are running that target my Myspace profile, and I see tons of misspellings or typos, or ads that look like they were created in Paint. Proofread guys, proofread!

I had created a campaign before that got a lot of clicks...

I just created 4 new ones on a different offer and it's been 3 days now and it's still on 0 clicks and 0 impressions.. anyone had this happen before? I can't figure it out for the life of me.
