I want to throw something out to the more established members of WickedFire for your opinions.....
.... at what point should I start telling people to go fuck themselves? It wouldn't be so hard if I hadn't actually gone and registered $50 worth of domain names for people - yea I'm an idiot.
What I'm thinking is this: the people that are currently on the programme should be subjected to the same entry requirements of the people that aren't (10 blog posts of content).
And I should give a 48 hour deadline. If the content isn't received by then, I keep the domain name for someone else who wants to do the challenge perhaps.
Guys, what do you think? Is that a bit too harsh? Or am I well within my rights to feel like people are taking the piss out of me?
Sorry if I sound like a big cry baby again, it's just that I tried to talk to people on instant messenger and they go offline - blocking someone who's trying to help you is fucking stupid.
We spoke tonight, Kaltes is planning on doing a blog on Dog Training and is getting started writing the first few posts.I just need your AIM username, or other instant messenger name to get ahold of you. Thanks.
Delete them all, and only add links to blogs/sites that are on related to your niche, and that are decent sites.I've just got a few questions. I've got links on the right hand side of the page that come under the 'blogroll' and the 'meta' section. What should I be putting there. I haven't touched it yet so whatever is up there is the default links/settings.
It's fine, although I don't know why the first post on the homepage has normal text and the rest are a lot smaller. It could be the theme screwing up, I'm not sure.zmxn73 said:Also what do you guys think about the design. I personally like the simple, professional looking design but wouldn't mind adding a few design features to 'spice it up a bit.' Though I need suggestions please...
One of the plugins I uploaded was a Privacy Policy creator. Check it out.Can someone tell me how I can create a good privacy policy. I joined linkshare to become an affiliate of Itunes since it ties in with what I'm doing but they require a privacy policy on the page.
Do you want the blog homepage title to say that, but not the actual blog name? If so, use the AllinOneSEO plugin that is installed and ready... just go to Settings > AllinOneSEO and there's an option to manually change the homepage title tag to differ from the blog name.Oops another post. Sorry. I want the title of the blog to read "Learn 2 Speak German | Learn German at a Fast and Quick Rate Now | Free Tips, Tricks & Information" for SEO purposes.
Though I don't want this to be the title on the actual page of the blog. I want it to just read "Learn 2 Speak German" (as it is at the moment). How can I get around this?
Just a quick update. I've continued to post new posts daily onto my blog since I've come back from holidays.
I've also made all the necessary changes that David has suggested.
I've signed up for google analytics and feedburner, as well as put in a number of plugins. I've also signed up for CX Digital Media (still waiting to be approved) as they've got some mad PPL that pays well that fits with my niche. I've also signed up for Google adsense just for some giggles. I've also signed up for linkshare as there's an opportunity with Itunes and their podcasts. I'm also going to sign up for a few other networks soon as well.
I'm also looking for all the feedback I can get from anyone (!emp are you out there! :s) being either negative or positive, as long as you tell me how I can fix the issue!
Also on a side note, I was talking to David about k9questions.com (not sure from memory who's set up that site). But as a reader I feel a bad vibe whenever I go to an advice website and see a dark style theme. Although the header looks really good, I'm not a fan of the dark style theme, which is slightly off putting. That's just my opinion and could just be me, but David thought it was worth mentioning here for others to comment on.
