Basically I used to work at a muffin shop to learn to barista for when my fiancee open's his coffee shop in a few months. I make more with AM in a day than I do in a week there, but I was staying in for the experience and the cash flow.

This week someone's been stealing cash, $50 a day for four days in row. I am one of 5 people that could have stolen it (having been there for all four of those days). I didn't do it, but that's not the point.

Anyways, I get into work today, three days before Christmas, to be told "Oh I'm not putting you on for two weeks just to see if the money stops being stolen".

So basically I told her to get fucked and left.

I was gonna leave at the end of January, but now's good too.

Same here,
Used to work at chinese fast food for only 2 days(sat and sun) then i just quit. That was the only job i've ever have and I've never got any job(P/T & F/T) in my entire life, beside sitting in front of my PC.
 
The only job I ever lasted less than 2 days at was a law firm.

It made me feel so dirty.
 
Congrats, you'll never look back. You can use the barista thing as a hobby to escape from AM which is needed to maintain some sort of sanity (in my case at least.)
 
Great story. I waitressed at a place for like 3 months and one day when I had to turn in my money at the end of the shift, I counted wrong and was off by about 10 dollars when I turned it in. The next day the wanker fired me for it. I was soooo pissed. a) to be labeled a thief, especially when your not, is so humiliating. b) 10 fucking dollars are you kidding me?? c) what was my diabolical plan? Make off with the 10 dollars and retire to Trinidad?

Anyways back to you...congrats!! :)
 
Now all that's left is dickrolling your old employer.

This reminds me of a time when I was a teen and worked at a kfc. I got blazed as hell during lunch break, and in the middle of taking an order I just kinda wandered out of the restaurant. My manager ran out after me a couple of minutes later to see what was up and I apparently flipped him off or told him to fuck off. At least, that is what a friend told me later that day - I was too gone at the time to remember.
