Anyone know any mods at Digital Point?

I'm running 3 logo design contests on digital point right now, and I bumped one of the threads and got banned for it.

I got a 10 point infraction which won't be lifted until January 15th.

This is a huge overreaction. Freaking hell give me a chance, maybe give me some infraction points and tell me that I shouldn't bump, then I wont from now on.

But just because you're on the rag doesn't mean you should ban someone for the simplest of all common place forum activities.

That's like implementing a No Typing 'lol' rule, and then banning anyone who does without notification.

Anyway, I just need to vent about it and I also need to get my account back so I can finish up those contests and pay the winners so they don't think I'm a dickhead and screwed off.

Anyone know any mods at DP that can be reasonable here and help me out?
 


Ok after doing some googling, it seems like they are just super power hungry and don't care who they ban or for what reason.

I think it's going to be awfully hard to get my account back.

Might just have to get my partner to take over the contests.
 
stop posting at DP. Their mods are ban happy, yet its filled with spam and crap
 
I'm pretty sure you broke a rule, which is very clearly spelled out.

That said, DP mods can get really overzealous, and I'm not sure one mod can overturn the actions of another one.

They haven't figured out that authoritarian reactions don't make for a healthy community.
 
Yeah I broke a rule, no bumping, but I don't have time to read the rules of every forum I post in.

It's quite ridiculous to ban someone for bumping a post. Give me a warning and I'll stop.

I haven't posted on DP for about 2 years, just went back to get some logos designed and was having an AWESOME experience, found some awesome designers.

Then they ban me for bumping...ridiculous.
 
They are fucking easy on banning. I did some graphic work for one of the mods there and he is now my friend. I may be of help?
 
I was banned for a dumbass reason, too, but my ban is for six months - my hubby was banned permanently.

I do know a mod and we're Copywriting buddies, but she wasn't able overturn the ban and her asking about it actually made the other one dig her heels in even more. The bumping rule is relatively new - it wasn't there two years ago if that makes you feel better.

Good luck getting the contest finished - I know exactly how frustrating it can be.

I have a great designer in the Czech Republic he'll do 5 logos for you to choose from for $100 let me know if your interested?

Also SP has their design site 99designs Leading Designer Marketplace for Logo Designs and More? place your contest there, or trawl some of the designs and then send an email to the designers you like
 
Use a proxy and just create another account to PM the winner(s). Get their AIM/MSN and finish your shit with them there.
 
I got a year ban. For calling out shoe dick licker over the way he pumped and dumped auctionads. Bastard still owes me money the way I see it. At that time I had 3 posts and he found something ban able in all of them. No real reason to go back there.
 
screw dp contests. if you want some decent logos, hold contests over at 99designs
 
i recently got banned on DP as well, for asking someone to PM me some information..

How much does it cost to get something designed there?
