NEW Facebook Ads

I never knew London was a country, and.. well I presume your not advertising to Germany and France because you don't know German or French?

I was going to make a new thread about this but figured it would be better to post here. I have been doing US and CA fb dating ads for a bit and was wondering what other countries do well for that market. I just submitted some ads to Germany, London, France, ect., ect. but figured I could ask here to see what worked for some other people.
Hope someone can give me some insight,

Per a discussion with a member of their sales operation team, Facebook has decided to limit dating ads. They of course gave no notice or subsequent explanation at all to their advertisers.

Are you running dating?

Personally I am done investing major time in facebook. I've decided it doesn't matter what you run, they will probably cancel it within a few weeks, especially it you actually make it work.

I've been doing dating offers on and off but never focused on them because I have so many better things to work on most of the time. I have a dating campaign picking up steam though as we speak that I will know what to do with by the end of the week.

It's all centered around this random picture that just drives men crazy and they must click on it. I've used it for several different offers(different types not different of the same type) and it's never had less than a .4ctr targeted at any group of men. With the right text it's done 1.05 ctr for a day before, pulled in 10k clicks that day. I just don't get this picture but I love it.

OMFG Facebook change something on the ad interface

new suggested bid on the change bid price screen. It says i could be bidding 15 cents for shit im bidding 40 cents for. I wonder if that will kill my impressions. I knew my ctr was awesome but this particular ad is converting so well I dont want to lose clicks.

I'd definitely say it's worth trying. I know I've dropped bids in half on certain occasions and it didn't affect impressions too greatly.

Time to drop the bid on this one to $.00, lol.

your ctr must be around 2.0 amirite?

Somethings changed, can get almost any ads approved at the moment, I'm more than surprised, this is good.

Ok so putting my bids down to 5-10 cents OVER the top of the new suggested bid range completely killed my impressions, I'm taking by a factor of 1000.

Facebook fucking sucks, what a piece of shit system.

lol that's what happens wen you follow some random guy with 77 posts advice in a thread?

i mean it was a brand new feature, i figured maybe i was overpaying because of how good my ctrs were. blah, at least its only 12 hours or so on like 20% of my ads.

Probably just a photoshop amateur...

I think facebook might be doing allot of tampering with the advertising service at the moment?

Is anyone even getting impressions or adverts approved today?

Out of surprise I got all my 50+ ads approved today - that too within 10 minutes of creating each ad.

they approved all my ads but it's been like 30 mins and i have not received a single impression yet, wtf!
