2009 Goals?

pay my way through college. buy my first car. ever. help retire my parents. pretty high goals for a first year AM. I have 7 months :)
 


"building a better relationship with god"

What does that line mean exactly? It has never made a bit of sense to me.
 
Monetarily, I want to make $200 a day. I know this is like lunch money to many of you, but it will make me a very happy camper indeed. I need about $20,000 to fix up the house as it needs to be fixed, rent it and move to Southern California to work in the movie industry. Just fold up my laptop, and my business moves with me.

No more worries about bills.
No more creepy critters in the house.
No more broken appliances.

Good question! I actually had a coaching session with a success coach today who was helping me set up my goals. Last year I reached my 100K goal and this year my goal is to reach $20K/Month which means making $240K/Year which is more than doubling my income. Yikes! But I know I can do it if I put my mind to it :-)

You guys can answer Secret Santa letters at the post office OPERATION SANTA CLAUS

Nothing better than knowing you made some kids holiday better. Many families find it hard to get their kids basic winter clothes, this is a way to help but also a way to get a cool toy to a kid who otherwise just wants socks

Everyone here is banking so pick up 10 letters each, spend a few grand and do something good. If you want i may have the letters i answered last year so you can see what kids ask for, almost none want toys, they want clothes so they dont freeze, or they want their sister or brother to get a toy. I saw one letter which was a brilliant kid who got in to a good ivy league college but her parents couldn't afford the tuition so her only choice was to go to community college, its a shame that financial circumstances may cheat us out of someone who can cure cancer, or create a better alternative to automobiles.
 
I really want to get off my ass and start making some serious money. I haven't launched a legit campaign yet but i need to buy car so I can get to work, a M3 would be nice lol. The reason I don't have a car is because some bimbo totaled my car blowing through a red light at 40 MPH. I have been mooching rides to work from school, which really pisses me off. I just don't have the time lately to start and run some SERIOUS campaigns. Just spread to thin between school, work, gf, some local web design jobs, etc.

BTW: Danc1122 thats some motivational shit.

Eagle, nice to see your taste in watches has been upgraded from Movado. Breitling is on my list of material items to get this year as well, I still love the Emergency though. The new Bentley's are pretty dope too :)

That's just my first watch, and one of my favorites. I like how it looks. I recently purchased a couple other nice watches - IWC Big Pilot, Patek Philippe and next Friday I should have my Super Avenger...

... I've wanted the Super Avenger for a loooong time now. I love watches, and I'm maturing away from only-icey watches. I set a lot of material goals for myself because when I get one, it motivates me to work even harder.

I am very conservative with my spending though, I have a policy of keeping nearly all my money moving in some direction. I'm always trying to scale scale scale. If money is not moving, I'm not progressing as a businessman.

Aside from the obvious (make more money, scale, buy new toys) goals, your post inspired me to share one goal that I probably wouldn't have shared otherwise: to become more pro-active in my efforts to help abused animals.

Yeah, I know there are plenty of people that need help but animals are often overlooked. Dog-fighting, illegal puppy mills, and other heinous atrocities like that are rampant here in the South with alarmingly little being done to stop or even put a dent in the problem.

I've been writing checks for a while but I want to step up my efforts quite a bit. It'll be a very good day when I can honestly say my efforts helped put some of these Michael Vick wanna-be mother fuckers behind bars.

I rescued the dog in my avatar about two and a half years ago from a prisoner-run shelter. They had him scheduled to be put down in less than 48 hours. He was 25+ lbs underweight, covered with fleas and ticks, and had sores all over his legs from having to sleep on rough cement while locked in small cages with 10 or more other dogs. Now he's fat, dumb, and happy sleeping in his own dog bed watching the cartoon network on the plasma while I work. Yeah, I tend to spoil my dogs.

His name is - appropriately enough - "Lucky."

This is the best goal.

I'm buying the husband a Breitling probably around the end of this month, so lets hope he doesn't read WF.

Buy a 1-series BMW. You guys don't have them in North America (I don't think) and they're absolutely adorable. Plus since I'm only learning to drive (long story, because of my birthday and going out of province for university I never really past my learner's license, and now I have to learn on the other side of the road) I don't want to get an M3 until I've gotten used to driving something smaller.

I want to get more involved in animal rights as well. Puppy mills are a pretty big problem in Australia, and I want to see them all burn in hell.
 
To make at least $150 a day during AM part time. I know this is almost nothing to most of you here, but making this much daily will pay off my college loans in one year. Lets hope it happens!

I totally missed this & yeah that's just awesome bro, I've got a major soft spot for animals, abused animals definitely need more help and the awareness of this shit (dog fighting and just plain abuse of animals) needs to be stepped up and these fuckers need more than a bullshit slap on the wrist, coz thats all they really get, yeah i donate to the rspca but this just makes me want to do more.

Fuck people, animals FTW.

I thought i was the only one here with such a passion.

I donate alot of my money to animal organizations too, plus volunteer my time and space.

Best of luck with that goal and + rep many times over to you dude!

For all the guys into animal rights/welfare (and everyone else) - check out the documentary Earthlings. It should be mandatory viewing for every single person on earth. People are so oblivious to the horrific abuse that goes on on a daily basis everywhere.
