Just curious how everyone else out there is doing? Seems like it has become a bitch to make money online compared to "the good ol days"

Main thing I've noticed is the attention span of the average person is getting shorter and shorter, and people don't click on shit as much.

Thinking maybe the internet is way over saturated with people trying to make money online.

Too many hot dog carts and not enough wiener eaters?

From what I can tell the Norwegians wired all the money out of the internet between Aug. 2008 and April 2009...

Do you want the truth?

It was easy to make money when everyone could get HELOCs and zero interest credit cards. Stupid people who could not get credit because they couldn't qualify (because they are shit with money and fucking useless) now were rolling in bowcooo dollars.

Now credit is going to continue to get tighter, and people are going to start cutting back. The fucktards won't get more credit and most of them will go bankrupt.

For example, I keep running into all of these Real Estate Agent fucks on economics forums, and they are like warriors but think the entire internet is Yahoo and Facebook. They were flipping houses, without knowing anything about anything. They were leveraged up, and didn't even understand the fucking basics of asset appreciation.

Now they are ruined and out of the game. These were the same fucktards that would buy google bizops and never even look at it after purchase, because it was an impulse buy and all their quasi-retarded brains could comprehend was grabbing money everywhere like those people in those glass cages with the currency notes and the blower fan.

So yes there are less weiner eaters, and yes they will be more discriminating, and this is probably not the first time you have heard this, but you have an unattractive hot dog. ;)

Having been playing the SEO game for the last 7 years I must say it is harder to make the moniez onlines

But it is still a hell of a lot easier than making money offline.

In a few years from now people will be looking back saying... "Remember the good ol' days of using flogs to promote rebills?"

There used to be a time when companies paid $0.01 or more per banner impression and didn't know shit about bots or how to check for them. If you depended on a pay-per-impression business model, then you went under when the advertisers dropped those programs.

There's no way anyone survives online if they are not diverse and open to change- really rapid change. If someone puts a big slab of concrete in front of you, don't try to dig under it when you can just take a few steps and walk around it.

regardless of anything - there will ALWAYS be stupid (ignorant if you prefer) people with at least 10 dollars on their cc or debit cards. There seems to be a ceiling lately from what I can tell - aside from that - yes it's saturated - but the guys who know what they're doing still prevail.

yup it does get more difficult as every damn year goes by. I have been doing Affiliate Marketing and all aspects of online marketing since 1996! I have seen ups and downs but in retrospect more ups than downs and putting it all in perspective online businesses and specifically online marketing is still in its infancy. The key is to adapt with the inevitable changes in our fickle industry and our turbulent economic environment - be creative, stay focused, take chances, and drinks lots of fluids.

heh, remember back in 1997ish era? Gooogle wasn't even released yet (or in an early stage of developement) There was basically Commission Junction and one other AD Network. Companies would pay 5 - 20 cents per click - they were just happy to get the word out on their websites.

Man, if all you young guys were doing PPC back then with all the knowledge you have now - no joke you would all be multi-zillionaires. The Raping of Yahoo, Google and other mini engines, the lack of rules.... wow....

Yeah - always focus on the solution, and keep in mind when tight times are among us - it's a bit of a shakedown of the fly-by nighters, if you can hang in there for the long run and diversify - you will survive. IMHO

are you kidding me? What other business can someone, with no employees, make sales 24 hours a day without (assuming setup correctly) human input?

Those who feel making money online is 'a pain' have obviously a) not thought outside the box or b) never worked in a shitty corporate job filled with nonsense and lots of humans doing lots of things that can't be automated to keep the money furnace going.

I've been in the online realm since '99 - if you don't honestly see LIMITLESS potential especially now with little things like prosper, wordpress, umteenmillion ecommerce shopping cart backends (including good open source solutions) etc etc etc you're crazy.

Just b/c your acai flog took a shit or that you can't slang poor quality refi/debt leads to idiots doesn't mean that the internet is broken.

Until then the concept of me making money while out on a longboard sitting in the lineup, while automation/technology runs a business that is infinitely more scalable than any brick and mortar could dream of is the best thing since sliced bread to me.

7 months in and lets see...300% ROI today and a profit that when extrapoliated out is over 2.3 million/yr.

Going pretty good over here.

I don't know what it would take to appease you but how much easier do you want things to get?
Making money on the internet is already about 10 times easier than making money offline.
The primary reason for this is: You put in an initial investment of time and a bit of money and your money making websites will keep filling up your bank for months to come 24/7. We internet marketers make money even while we're in deep sleep or when we're going for a vacation with family or friends.
When you're sipping a slush at the beach, bathing yourself in the warmth of the sun and checking out hot girls jumping around half naked, you can rest assured that you made more money in timespan that you were sipping the slush than what you paid for it.
