All this desk work and hanging around the house is piling on more weight, so I'm about to take a 2 mile round trip walk to the bank. I need to do this every fucking day, or else I'm gonna be built like a planet. I'm still fit enough to walk about 4 miles without sitting, but need the discipline to do something, anything regularly.

It's gotten so bad, some of my clothes don't fit. What are you doing to get/stay fit?

Someone should invent an apparatus for a treadmill that allows you to exercise and use a PC at the same time, and then document the experience...

{EDIT} BOFU you sniping jagoff.

it's been tough the last month, but i was pretty committed to hitting the gym and pushing / pulling weights for the last two years. starting a new program on sunday. for me i need the consistency - time and place - to get in some exercise. diet plays a role too.

I bet a lot of affiliates are incredibly unhealthy. Its cant be great for your health to be sat at a keyboard all day hitting refresh.

That actually works pretty well. But if you get bored of doing the same shit for a month, then you might want to try something else, cause it gets old real fucking quick.

I did crossfit but that shit is not for average people, I always would end up getting burnt out after a month and quitting. The exercises are awesome though, it's nice they change it up everyday. The gyms are a little cultish though the people are kind of weird at those gyms.

Well besides the obvious (see the two stoodges posts above) which I do almost everyday....I just got a new bike. It's one of those 1940 types (called beach cruisers today) It's great cause it's an easy ride and you can sit up straight while riding it. I intend for this to be just leisurely but that's pretty much the way I exercise anyway. (passive exercise ) Here's the bike I got Pink Cadillac Eldorado Bicycle Women's Beach Cruiser Bike: Cadillac Bike Store

EDIT: Oh and you don't have to "diet" per say but you do have observe your caloric in/out. I have one of those mini white boards on the fridge and I right down what I eat all day. I don't restrict the types of food I eat, I just have to write it all down with the goal of keeping it under an alloted amount of calories.

TESTOSTERONE MUSCLE | Unapologetic Muscle-Building Elitists is the best weightlifting site around IMO... even though it's integrated w/ their store.

also some good articles here:
EliteFTS - Powerlifting and Strength Training Products and Knowledge for Lifters, Athletes, Coaches, and Trainers

btw, crossfit is gay. the exercises they do are good, but the people are generally closet fags (bay area mac fanboy organic food types). the label "crossfit" must make squatting and overhead presses more appealing to those people.

inorite. i can't bring myself to do crossfit. but I would like some kettle bells and to try out some other types exercise other than just your standard lifting and cardio and some circuits

I've gained six pounds in the 12 months I've been building sites.

I was hoping that everything I'd learned over the past year had caused my brain to gain six pounds... but discovered this past week that three of my skirts won't button.

Obviously dancing in my chair while I work isn't burning enough calories anymore.

This week I bought rice cakes for the first time in my life.

Have a hobby that requires exercise. For me, it's skateboarding and playing hockey.
