I like Obama. I mean, I don't love him. I couldn't love a politician anymore than I could love a used car salesman. I just think that this now creates an expectation in the minds of some about his foreign policy decisions and that it could weigh him down more than anything else.
But I've heard and watched the speech since I posted last and he says he doesn't feel he deserves it and also implied that he's not going to pussy out because of it. I take him at his word.
Anyway, you're right. No matter what he'd done the right wing media would hammer him for it, but that's what they get paid to do.
But seriously, if they gave the prize to Teddy Roosevelt they might as well give it to Obama. Teddy was probably as hawkish as Bush.
