Police released surveillance video to identify gunmen captured on camera at Route 66 Bar in Toledo, Ohio. The shootout involved multiple gunmen.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) - Toledo police released surveillance video to identify gunmen captured on camera at Route 66 Bar in the 400 block of N. Westwood in west Toledo.

The shootout, involving multiple gunmen, took place Thursday, Oct. 8 around 11:30 p.m. Police say it is amazing no one was hit since 17 shots were fired in about one minute.

It started, police say, when a patron was asked to leave because a bar employee said he was trying to sell marijuana. Security was called to escort the patron out of the bar, but a fight ensued instead. Police say friends of that patron began firing toward the floor. An employee behind the bar retrieved a gun and also began shooting.

It is the patron who was being escorted out of the bar that police are trying to identify. They are also trying to identify his friends, fearing retaliation toward employees at the bar.

If you lay on the floor and kick your feet does the bullet travel faster?

0:27 - 0:29

The dude that goes up to the door at the end is pretty casual considering the whole bullets-flying-at-his-head situation.

I blame video games, damn virtual scopes have ruined the aiming skills of an entire generation.

its the holding the gun sideways like they see in the gangsta flicks, it makes accuracy shit. The guy kicking his feet thought he was on some ninja shit blocking bullets with his feet as they came towards him.

lmao Too much Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

These people clearly never took the time to even take the NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course, let alone visit a shooting range. Almost upsetting stupidity didn't cancel each other out there.

Give me that pistol all I would need is 8 bullets and all those motha fuckas would be wasted. Niggas need to learn to aim. It's not really that difficult. Just point and squeeze.

Aw fuck I just read that article....That is retarded. These fucking government puppet news networks will DO EVERYTHING to give marijuana a bad name..

This a a bit FUCK YOU to the media!

It was Toledo , so it shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Trigger - Shooting under pressure isn't the easiest of things, thus why soldiers train every day for a variety of sitations.

Obviously shooting with one hand, with the pistol held sideways is a pretty poor discipline, which in this case was a benefit , no one was harmed.

I've heard 17 shots fired on some reports, some say over 20. Definitely a lead flying around. Maybe the bar owner will upgrade to something like a 12 gauge , maybe it would have been different the first time around.

america needs more guns obviously. people need to be able to defend themselves in situations like these.

In the state of Ohio , it's illegal to have a firearm inside a designated liquor establishment with the only exception of the bar owner.

Obviously this video is fake, no one would ever disobey the law!

i'm not sure about that, actually. maybe they ignored the law this time. i think they should get rid of this stupid law - safety first.

im totally shocked this happened in ohio. also bar owner should have a had a shotgun.

it looked like they were shooting on a funny angle and not directly at each other.

if one of them knew how to hold a pistol properly that could have been a bad situation.

How about that guy with white cap turned backwards, :46, he's walking around and watching like it's an everyday occurrence. In the movies all the liquor would have been shot up on the back wall..
