I vote we amend this rule:
13- Absolutely ZERO advertising allowed for any type of affiliate program within ALL of our forum topic sections. I don't care if you are some giant affiliate network or even the smallest merchant. Affiliates are allowed to ask "would you use this and that" but if it seems spammy, we're going to investigate it, and you will likely end up with a violation of our rules and banned. Seriously, we are getting strict about this, so don't test us unless you really want to lose your account and program credibility.

The endless self-promotions and "shameless" plugs are getting really fucking annoying. This rule is not even being enforced now for several networks that plug themselves on a day-to-day basis. Comeon now.
 


Turning off others' signatures helps remove the amount of eyesore self-promotional douchebaggery as well. No more enormous graphics with ads for scripts or ad networks that dwarf their average post.
