This Would Absolutely Never Happen In America

^^^ Another thing I thought of....

This won't even remove the private option....

if you think government sucks ass at everything it does......

.......then you can still choose the "superior" private option. Done and done. Everyone is happy.

Still doesn't remove the fact that private enterprise could keep the potholes filled and do it at a cost that would not be wasteful of the public's money.

Which reminds me of a joke I heard while growing up in California:
Q: What's orange and sleeps three?
A: A CalTrans Truck

I, or anyone I know never had any problem getting excellent care from Canadian hospitals. I only had to be hospitalized once in my life for a sliced tendon and surgery and physiotherapy went flawlessly. All it cost me was being born in Canada and showing a little piece of plastic that I never had to worry about.

It's not perfect, but nothing is.

Human error occurs at every level, whether you pay big bucks for it or not.

the highway system is constitutional under the Interstate Commerce clause. Plus, there are many private tollways that are better maintained than large parts of the interstate.

Note: that political cartoon ^ is not the definitive argument for the public option. ;)

I just threw it in there....it's really easy to attack though, so have fun.

I'm noticing a pattern of dismissiveness of your own arguments.
I doesn't help you advance your ideals when the undertone lacks confidence and conviction.

I'm just posting my thoughts (for the libs and such) and just halfway arguing at this point.

To really argue with you guys wastes too much energy and ultimately gets nowhere.
