Contact Info on Brandon AKA DotComIcon Scammer Rip Off Cheap Mother Fucker

He never got anything done, laziest person I've ever met from WickedFire. I asked for the money back or to work something out and he said he already spent it all and has not responded to me since.

Also, you weren't open to the "working something out" part -- I tried asking for you to let me do some graphics creatives after the flash thing didn't work out and you told me just send the money back.

If you were open to even half-cash / half-work we could wrap this up a lot more quickly. I know the issue was my turn-around time, so let me do some stuff you have on the back burner to at least make it right.

Quit playing the good guy role, did you not take $2k and not talk to me for months? Have you attempted to pay me back in any way? That's not sketchy?

Accepting payments and agreeing to finish jobs that you can't finish in any timely matter is a little misleading buddy. I never said I didn't have any of your contact info, I said I was looking for an address.

Give me a call on Monday and let me know what's up. I tried calling and I tried emailing you, I never received that FLV file either - forward me that sent email because I'd like to see any type of proof that you sent it.

You want to let me have fun with the information I have on you? Really though? How about just pay back the money you owe me? I honestly don't care if it takes you a year to pay me back $2,000. At least show some effort man...

You have my phone number, email and address.

You rushed me for work, asked me to drop my other clients, tossed me a couple g's and then said nevermind on the work when I couldn't get some flash work done. I'm a lowly designer and don't have much in liquid assets. I never should have accepted the prepayment without knowing what you were asking of me.

I'll call you on monday, I'm a little surprised you posted this without even calling or emailing me.

Dude we've been trying to reach you for months and you set deadlines you never ever kept. You never said you had other clients and couldn't finish by those timelines. You said I don't have anything to do other then school and I'll get them done.

Here's the whois info for his domain name brandonwashere.com

That is one dope design...
You seriously paid $2,000 to a "designer" who's personal site is the stock thesis theme with no posts, lol.

The proof is in the pudding, and you should have looked at the fuckin jello.

Dude, I'll own up to not meeting your deadlines, but to say you've been trying to get a hold of me for months is pushing it. I'm on IM daily (same account, no switching), I haven't dodged phone calls, I check the same email box we ever had correspondence from daily.

And I'm not trying to play 'the good guy' -- I'm just doing my best to respond professionally and handle the situation. I guess I should have flew off the handle and started making asinine threats or something, that would be more entertaining for everyone involved.

At least he is own'ing up to it. (although it took posting on WF before he did)

I'm surprised he didn't pull the standard "computer/hd crash" or the "family emergency" excuse.

I used to think being a content writer was the most dangerous profession in the world... based on all the "deaths in family", "sicknesses", and "hard drive crashes" all of my outsourced writers had when they could not meet deadlines. ;)

Hello friends,

I hope in heart you two find peace together and no have do things violent to each other.

Good luck bros

Theres fuck all proffessional about taking someones $2k and not returning it when you realised you woudln't be able to complete what he was asking.

It wouldn't have taken a WF post, it could have taken an IM, or a phone call, or an email. Regardless, too late for any of that now.

Actually my PC power supply went out this last week and it was total shit. Unfortunately that excuse isn't legitimate here.

And yes, accepting a deposit shouldn't ever happen before knowing client expectations or at least having a project scope done. This was "Hey, Imma send you $2k for whatever we decide to do in the future..."

Oh well, career is fairly thrashed now... Gonna take a bit longer to pay it back flipping burgers, but I'll deal.

KidChaos - if someone sends you 2K with the agreement it's for future use as in a retainer, you can't really spend it. You need to put the money in a different checking account or whatever system works for you, so you don't get the urge to "tap" it.

Seeing you're a student full time I guess I can understand the needs for cash on hand. I think the easiest way out of this mess is for you to either pay back the bal due long term, or else ask the OP if there is any other type of work you can do to work off the balance.

Btw, blowing off Smaxor was an ENORMOUS mistake. If you're going to do business with powerful network owners, you best be delivering on time. I don't think you realize how much potential business you just loss as well as reputation there. Ouchville ;-(

Now I take this back. WickedFire deserves to hear about this.
