Lord Monckton Owns GreenPeace Drone

Most logical people would agree that health care reform is sorely needed. However, the solution is increased competition, not taxes. Competition comes about by deregulation and elimination of monopolies. This is a good solution.

A Four-Step Healthcare Solution - Hans-Hermann Hoppe - Mises Institute

If you have more time, here is another interesting take...

How American Health Care Killed My Father - The Atlantic (September 2009)

The author, David Goldhill, asks several provocative questions that would make our Overlords squirm if the populace were to demand answers. As a side note, I believe Goldhill loses his nerve in proposing solutions toward the end of the article. It's still an engaging read.

I read the second article, thanks for the first.

I find this a tad funny (humorous)

Eliminate all licensing requirements for medical schools, hospitals, pharmacies, and medical doctors and other health-care personnel. Their supply would almost instantly increase, prices would fall, and a greater variety of health-care services would appear on the market.

Awesome- so now I can not only run berry flogZ, but I can run un-licensed botox flogs via do it yourself at home kits (free trials!) run out of my warehouse storefront location.

:)

(kidding- kind of)

That's one way to look at it. The main point is to allow every customer to decide how she will spend her hard-earned dollars. And to do so unimpeded by those who profess to "save her" from catastrophe.

For example, consider hair stylists. Some are great and others are... less than great. I've had my hair cut by those in both groups. Over time, I gravitate to the stylists I consider able and willing to provide the service I'm looking for at the price I'm willing to pay.

I don't need our Overlords to pass legislation restricting the type of tools used, number of stylists available, how much money they charge, and what kind of hair products they sell. Let me decide how to spend my money.

That's how it should be in every sector, including health care. And taxes retard that process.

You're crazy for this one Rick. It's your boy!

LOL @ UnripeArbiter in this thread. He's responded 4 times in this post, once to himself...everyone else just ignored him.

Funny video though, fucking ignorance.

LOL @ you taking Hellblazer's side.

I had two main points:

- this is slightly ridiculous if you think this is awesome and the Palin followers thread was crap (evidenced by your opinion here ^ and your lack of one in the Palin followers thread) btw, that was my point before you made that comment....

- take a look at the big picture, oil is running out.

Wow, highly controversial ideas there..... (I can see why every single person that I didn't directly address my message to, didn't have a reply.)

Although, some share my sentiments.

So why is this video awesome, but the one of the dude showing how retarded Palin supporters are isn't?

--------------

The only taxation in the climate change arena that I agree with is for solar subsidies.

The free market doesn't care too much about solar until it becomes cost competitive with oil. So why not give solar a boost in the meantime? I wouldn't mind at all if some of my taxes were going to fund an alternate, endless, and clean supply of energy. Think of it as a national security issue. (the sooner we're weaned off oil the better) I don't mind paying, at all, for the security of the nation.

I'm not talking about lowering the standards of living for people, I'm simply talking about solar subsidies. Oh no! Subsidies! Subsidize solar just like oil is. Shit, oil hardly needs it, anyway.

There's all the energy we need... Let's fucking harness it.

LOL @ you taking Hellblazer's side.

I didn't take anybody's "side". The video was funny. So was the Palin one. I'm sure there's Christian Bush supporter videos that are hilarious too. Nice try though.

You can't understand that everybody thinks you're a tool and doesn't listen to you? Why do you even still post here?

You keep on telling yourself that people actually read your long, babbled out posts...

You didn't call the Palin supporters "fucking ignorant." No, that would be too close to home.

However, you have no problem calling this greenpeace tool, "fucking ignorant".

Why would it be too close to home? I'm not even a fucking conservative.

I posted that because I simply felt like responding, it had nothing to do with the topic. Palin is a dumb bitch you think I don't know that? Excuse me for my liberal tongue.

both are pretty funny, but one is dealing with a real issue, while the other is dealing with a book signing.

It wasn't even intended for you in the first place... (the first time that I made the comment)

I agree, nothing that the Palin followers were talking about were real issues.
