White House: Attempted terrorist Attack in Detroit

I'm sure I do get different news from you guys since I actually live here, and yes - initial reports were that passengers reported that it sounded and smelled like firecrackers. My daughter is actually flying into Metro on Tuesday from Texas and was freaked out about it. She asked why they let firecrackers on a plane, so wherever she heard it from in Dallas must have initially reported the same thing. So Karl is right about initial reports because they were so anxious to report on the incident they didn't bother checking their facts. To cover their ass they said "passengers reported"...

But whatever the case may be, it was definitely a syringe and that's all that matters now so who gives a shit.

That wasn't even the issue, the issue was FatBat having his head so far up his ass that he felt the need to actually say I must be in my own little world because what I typed yesterday isn't the same as being reported today, no shit they change, not my fault.

First reports that it was firecrackers (exactly what was said on the news) was wrong. It is a chemical compound called PETN. Same shit the shoe bomber tried to use. Extremely explosive... 100 grams of it will blow your crap up to hell. Dude had it strapped to his left thigh, while sitting over the jet fuel tanks, and at a window seat.

He was a dumbass though, because they were about to land, EVEN if the explosives were to go off, there was hardly any compression in the plane because they were at such a low altitude. If they were at 20,000 feet and it did explode. Good bye.

Its not like the pilots were gona be like "oh shit, I'm gona go crash this plane now". Would have continued to keep landing despite the hole out the side of the plane. I think at worse it would have fire on board, maybe a dozen people killed. But as you said, if done at 20K, you'd probably lose the entire crew compliment.

I dunno, maybe he was hoping the thing would crash into the airport itself.

For the umpteenth time. No one saw him light any firecrackers. The only reason firecrackers were mentioned was because that's what it sounded and smelt like to the passengers on board.

They CERTAINLY didn't see him trying to detonate the device by sticking a firecracker in it and lighting it, nor was it ever reported that way, which is some shit you just made up yourself when you said...

Exactly... it would be similar to the Southwest? Flight like... a year ago that had the hole appear in the roof suddenly during midflight. Remember that?
