Sorry for the late replies here. I have been busy with my own forum, blogs and family.
OK, thanks to the mods and others for getting those Prosperant salesman thread high jackers off this thread. I was going to blast them a new a$$, hence BYA for the fun of it and just ruin their online rep for being hijackers. FYI Prosperant, learn some online etiquette because if this is how your operate, anyone who makes real money will not want to even look at your offers you are so obviously trying to promote. If they were so good, we would have heard of you or been referred to you. Don't come in here and rebuke this, you have had your time to promote. I may see you guys on your thread after I do some digging on your firm.
keeper33: Hey Moe, for those of us new to SEO, would you suggest outsourcing from the beginning or moving to outsourcing as the site begins to grow and becomes too much for one person to handle?
I suggest that you do it all yourself and you don't worry too much about SEO. Yes, be aware, but just concentrate on getting good content out there that is researched via keyword tools to make sure your titles are SEO's and articles are what people are searching for. Do guest posts on other blogs for links and traffic. Keep working on content and it will happen.
I have 3 full time people and 2 independent contractors I work with. As profit comes in, you invest back into it. I have a designer and a full time content writer and forum moderator, my son Evan
ohnysc430: I can't believe you own loansafe that's funny, I was a mortgage broker for 10 years before getting into the affiliate game. Still do loans here and there passively. That's pretty awesome a lot of guys speak about your site in the industry.
Good to see a mortgage PRO in here and making money online. Good move!!! Yeah, I
bash the industry a lot because there was just so much riff raff and wanna be slimy millionaires selling loans when they shouldn't have. Imagine when the market turns and people need loans, my site will be the biggest ad highest paying out there. I suspect in 2014 when real estate rebounds (my prediction) or so, I'll be a set
bitsdawg: OK - BYA - you have gotten me to take my most popular blog, and refit it with a pro theme . Tomorrow I'm going to invest in a good forum system - instead of the free wp plugin I was using.
It is time for me to mature online.
I forgive you for siding with Shawn on the numbskull/numskull thing.
I am so glad you are doing this and being mature. It's gonna take time and you're going to have doubts, but just keep working smart and hard. Eventually it will pay off if you played your cards right. I wish you the best bits and if you need help, just let me know.
JohnCJackson: I have other shit that's all Adsense, as well. It's probably a good idea not to ignore either, and as I said before I think people tend to have a very narrow view of affiliates as well as Adsense publishers.
Everything you said in your post counter my thoughts in coherent manner. I agree with most what you say. I just have had crappy experiences with most all affiliate companies and as soon as I went Adsense, my worries ended and I could focus on creating. I never have to worry about payouts or offers.
To each is own and I agree that one should explore all possibilities.
Amanda11: Blastyourass, are you related to Shut Your Ass? Also, cool thread bro. eh you run adsense and doesn't afraid of anything.
Um, no. Thanks Amanda. Me not afraid of anything. Is that you in the avatar, if so, your cute and should be livin in a car.
penguinbc: How well do you have to do to get to this level? (account executive)
Not sure. I just got an email one day and they offered to work with me on ad placement etc. She got my income way up with some simple tweaks she made.

I
assume it has to be in the multiple thousands monthly and I was making that month
.
LazyHippy: Great thread man, good to see ya back around here.
You have always been one of my favorite dudes here with the best attitude. It is nice to be back and thanks for the welcome from someone I respect a lot!
rsheth3: you seem like a nice guy no homo
thanks, I guess? I have nothing against gays, but personally, I like giving it.
1EightT: You should check out Prosperent TCPA ads. You can use them in conjunction with Adsense ads, so your retain your adsense earnings, but the TCPA ads are displayed on the first visit by anyone with a valid U.S search referrer. Our record for a single click was a couple days ago. The publisher made 786.00 dollars. On a daily basis I see 200.00 + clicks come through. Makes adsense look like chump change if you have the right type of traffic that converts for affiliate type products.
I am sure there are ways to do this. But with Google Adsense I have enough ads. I am a loyal guy and when someone treats me well, then also pays me well, I tend to be loyal to just that person. My focus is to work with Google on these type of sites until I retire and let people know that it is a viable option for making great money online.
Some people like going from offer to offer looking for the next best street corner. I'm on a street corner made of G's for Gold and Google. In addition, Google gives me 95% of my traffic. For a return of the favor, I work with them in making this relationship one that is not a pimp and hooker, but a real business relationship with great benefits.
Heck they even sent me a bad ass Valentines Card.
rgordon83: THIS is what makes people successful. Sure, you can scam a few thousand people on rebills and hope the AG doesn't start head hunting, but real success comes from producing real value. That's how you get long term users, repeat customers, referrals, links, etc...
You couldn't be more correct. I am a firm "knower" that what comes around goes around. You reap what you sow. KARMA is for real and if you spread bad seeds, bad deeds will happen to you. If you spread good seeds, good deeds and opportunities will be abound.
I made mistakes in my past that landed me in prison. I got what I deserved and when I hit rock bottom, I dedicated my life to doing good at all times. Especially when no one is watching.
This has maid off a million fold and is the basis of my online business.
theREALdmak: Motivational Post. Essentially, you're building a real website business.
Thanks man. Yup, I am actually building what I call "online investment property" that I build with my own hands and mind. It is asking to building a house in the woods from scratch and owning the land.
Koschei: How are you dealing with Universal Search? I have an authority site in health niche that had top rankings for some nice keywords, till Google decided to put Shopping box and AdWords expandable product ads in the middle of SERPs and re-rank the hell out of everyone. Most of the traffic hit came in the last few months and seems this is just the beginning of the algorithm shake-up coming this year.
How are you dealing with all that stuff hogging SERPs? Video & images, social / real-time factors, page load times / bounce rates.
Are you producing any content specifically targeting these universal boxes? What exactly?
Yes, I noticed somewhat of a drop, but not in earnings. My site has tens of thousands of posts on huge long tail finance words. I get visitors all on long tail.
I am getting big time involved in video, radio and images. That is one of my main focuses right now. Ustream, YouTube, MetaCafe, Flicker. You have to do it all.2
rawbones: Looks like a good thread, I will come back and read it later. BYA you remind me of a gentlemen named Grizzly. Kills it with adsense.
Thanks so much! Yeah, I know the Griz from his making money online websites on blogger accounts. He tells the truth, but it bugs me that he doesn't just divulge who he is. I like 100% transparency and I think that helps your online cause 10 fold.
efeezy: Glad to see that others are still doing well with Adsense. Most of you probably know from some of my threads that Adsense is how I make most of my money, and it amounts to 70% of my monthly income. I laugh when I see others say "adsense is dead" or "you can't make money from Adsense". Sure, it might not be the best way to monetize every site, but if you have a high traffic site in a decent niche, there's no reason you can't make $10,000+ a month from it.
Glad to see a fellow Adsense entrepreneur. Once you do it on one website, it is easy to duplicate.
Thanks for the questions everyone and please feel free to ask more questions or share you story
