Some More Conservative Hypocrisy

Marriage is legally binding contract between the couple and the government.
Currently, our government is allowing for certain citizens to marry and not others. This is unconstitutional and should be acknowledged as such. It's really that easy. Anything you argue against this is really just justifications for your own bigotry.

That is correct. But why let government enter the equation? Why not get rid this undesirable party?

Ever heard of cohabitation agreement? Why not make your own contract? If everyone write their own contract, all arguments will be gone. Why should government got to get involved in marriage anyway? Because they want to insert voters' interest in marriage law.

Why care about others' interest? If I make a deal with the cunt it'll just be between me and the cunt. Everyone else' interest doesn't matter as long as I don't steal their pocket and I ain't no rappin the cunt.

You can try to rationalize it all you want, but at the end of the day Marriage was made for a man and a woman. PERIOD.

Why stop at changing the definitions to include gays?

Why not let people marry animals or allow 30 year old perverts to marry 14 year old girls? Hell, if that is what makes them happy and that is the way they are, what's the problem?

In a lot of early civilisations that wasn't a problem. Marriage might have been "made" for people of the opposite sex, but (what we view as) children certainly weren't excluded.

What we view as marriage is generally accepted to have began in Mesopotamia, where men literally owned their wives and children and if one partner died it was the norm for the other to then marry their dead wife's or husband's sister or brother along with a load of other things we might now consider immoral or wrong.

Just as the tradition of marriage has evolved away from one generally decided between two families and involving payment either one way or the other to something between two individuals and (hopefully) based on love then why should it not continue to evolve to allow people to marry those of same sex, multiple people or even their pillows if they want to? (Well, maybe not the pillow thing.)

You also know perfectly well gays aren't just like straight people, or gaydar wouldn't work.

There are lots of groups that are subject to some amount of discrimination, and gays are just the latest tyo suirm out from under the thumb of government. Blacks had to win the end of slavery, the end of segregation, and their civil rights. It took about a century. Gays are stomping around complaining about what they ought to have after what, a dozen years or so of reasonable equality? It's been less than fifty years since Stonewall. Give it time. Yes, you deserve these rights, and you'll get them. You just have to be patient, and the more you bitch and whinge about it, the longer it will take.

And WTF are you guys doing here, writing a rap song?

The blacks in America was recognized because they protested in bigger numbers, women got the right to vote in the same manner. Many measures and discriminatory actions aimed at curtailing the freedom of an individual by the government will only be lifted or repealed if people majority of the people will move against it.
