How the heck does this stuff make money?

Sandwhiches are LAME. Fresh, Hot, Homemade Food Is Where It's At!

But are you woman enough to make me a sandwich

#1: Is that all you demand? The value of a sandwhich is quite low, at least ask for something like an 8 course meal, to make it worthwhile.

#2: Is that the only thing which women seem to be able to make? You call them women? GET REAL!!! REAL WOMEN can COOK! Yes, that's right, I said COOK. So enough of this sandwhich BS, what kind of food do you REALLY want served? Want some steak and garlic shrimp, served with a side of steamy asparagus covered in Hollondaise sauce? (And a glass of HOME MADE WINE?)

Want some cheesy lasagna with Caesar salad, and garlic bread?

Want some juicy roast beef, sided with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a side salad? And yet again, throw in some home made red wine!

Unlike those bozo's, my Mama taught me to cook. So don't go around expecting me to simply throw some sauce on some bread and hand it to you. That's too lame. I'm not a LAZY cook. Ask for something real! (And EXPECT desert too!)

#3: Unless of course you've been sheltered so long from real food, that you need me to remind you what REAL food tastes like ;) :love-smiley-087:

Its an prestuff form of domain kiting
Blue Hat SEO-Advanced SEO Tactics User Contributed - Domain Kiting

Basically they spam links super hard to an illegal level to a domain that doesn't exist. That way they can't get in trouble for the linkspam or have it traced back to them. After the heat dies down they later register the domains and put up offers. Where as most blackhaters register the domain THEN spam, leaving themselves open to liability.

The real trick to do it cheaper is to setup a spamtrap of sorts on a wordpress blog or phpbb forum and monitor for spam that doesn't have a resolvable domain. Then register it out from under them. Problem is you don't know when they'll stop the link spam so you could get the heat for it. Typically though they only spam each domain for 2 days then register after 14-30 so you can start registering on day 10 and you'll catch a certain percentage. Which you can point to domain cash parking to make some easy money.

It really is a good method. I personally do nearly all my hardcore link spam before I register the domains for my new sites and saving the whitehat and greyhat link building for after the site is registered and built.

Perfect definition.
This could be named as the theory: "First go to black then come to white"

Dam you made me hungry. I'll take a steak.

dude seriously? its a scraper. it is not trying to drop real links the point is to test if any links get through your system and if so what type of link architecture/script is needed to properly place the link. The bot will paste the line then if it goes through it will record the results for later use.

Im baffled at the fact that I've figured this out and have been on WF 3 years less than you.

It's remarkably closed minded to think that just because something jumps out at you, it's going to do the same for everyone else. We are all connecting dots and it's always going to be different from one guy to the next guy based on experience, areas of expertise, focus and just where your skill level is. Instead you should acknowledge this and work to try to find others that can complement you and perhaps form symbiotic relationships to further both (or all, if it's a group) your goals.

Very, very nice +rep

To prevent them from being registered out from under you.

There's two types of this form of domain kiting. They use the jibberish domains for cash parking because they only care about the link traffic not the seo, the more jibberish your domains are the less chance of being registered by others. The other is for seo traffic which uses actual offers and keyword domains (usually an exact match foreign tld) which focus on quick rankings. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

The jibberish domain to cash parking method can be amazingly effective. You can also use feeds and cpc ads.
The post I made a few months prior to releasing the domain kiting guest post was actually playing around with it and it was the traffic source i was referring to in the introduction when I said I wasn't focusing on seo traffic lately (yet i screenshot awstats lol).

I don't remember exactly how many domains those stats encompassed but it would shock you at how few (I remember less than 10 at the time of the screenshot). I also pulled a 20% ctr through to cpc ads/feeds with an avg of $0.20-$0.45 per click.

whoa

It's funny how everyone on WF will flame the shit out of someone if they ask a question that everyone else on the forum knows already. But when it's the other way around, the dude doing the flaming (if it can even be classified as a flame) is the asshole? lol.

Usually people get flamed for being a douche, being spammy, not reading the rules...etc. *Typically* not for just asking questions (if it's a real newbie type questions they'll get flamed for asking outside the newbie forum, but you'll notice that people inside that forum are pretty decent even defending newbs when people are asses to them or try to dickroll them)

It's going to be a real shame and disservice to the forum if everyone starts thinking they can't ask a question.

People like being right, and HATE to be wrong. In everyone's own little mind, they are 100% right...but then someone comes along and proves otherwise.

Can't argue the facts, so instead, people just argue the character morale of the person in question...

I love being wrong.

How else are you going to learn anything?

Pretty much this. In general, I think it's the laziness that causes people to start flaming / rolling etc. I know that's the case for me anyways.

A) Being brand new to the forum and starting a new thread asking something that could be easily be found by looking around a little, asking generalized questions with little thought (how can i make monies online), etc.

VS.

B) Someone that's clearly read the stickies, 3-4 pages of a thread etc and asks a legitimate question because they simply don't have the context to understand what's being discussed. I'll never flame anyone who's asking good questions and actually trying to figure out shit on their own. E.g. http://www.wickedfire.com/traffic-content/83434-local-business-seo-5.html#post823495

A will pretty much always get flamed (especially if it's in Shooting the Shit) and B will generally get good responses from pretty much everyone...with a few minor exceptions (the people who post dickrolls in 90% of their posts, you know who you are).

Well you could start by learning from the mistakes of others, that way you don't make the same mistake(s). Saves a lot of time, and also can make you right "most" of the time.

Why spend your entire life doing all the wrong things, just to achieve one right thing? Better to optimize your time. There's a saying which goes like this:

"A clever person solves a problem, a wise person avoids it."

That's how else people learn.

ive been getting the exact same stuff entered into oscommerce contact us forms. I thought they were trying to do some type of link injection
Yeah, like I said, it's not a smart bot, but it does what it aims to do well. It checks forms and doesn't leave a foot print.
