the guy started one of the biggest dating websites in the world (by himself) and is now making 10 mil+ a year off of ad revenue. dumb? (insert scoff here)

Really? I had never heard of him until reading an interview a couple years ago that some guy had with him on how he got started. It was a 3 page article and after that, I was impressed.

If you look over his thread http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/74544-plentyoffish-self-serve-advertising.html , please tell me how Marckus would get no respect? It's rare you see anyone asking affiliates how they'd like to improve upon a service to make more money and actually follow through with it.

I have heard a few interviews with him from webmaster radio, as well as read an article..... must have been 3-4 years ago now.... where he talks about his business and the bankin.

Sounds like a dude who just happened to be the right place at right time.
