NEW Facebook Ads

Facebook usually disapproves download offers if it is direct linked? right?
what if we create a landing page which does not have any download part in it and later when it get's approved, than we change it to some download ?

I am new to facebook so i don't know if it works or not, any suggestions?
 


wow this is a great thread. i just got done ready a few pages, obviously too much to sit down and go through page by page.

Facebook is a goldmine if you can market your products on it correctly. small or large scale it's easy to get the conversions you are looking for if you have a decent amount of creativity and ingenuity.

If it was possible for high volume i would get approved for a christian dating offer an change it to adult dating offers.It can be possible if you have a good cloaking script tho.

Yes they will ban your account if they catch you doing this. Many from this forum have been banned for doing that. So if you do it make sure they don't catch you and it's on a credit card you don't need/use.

Personally, for me, it's not worth the risk doing this since it's annoying having to deal with alternative credit cards and proxies and getting your spend limit up and the whole shebang.
 
Got a question about daily spend limit,

Currently got $250, How much do you need to spend before getting $500?

Last night I spent $ 250, and it looks like I will do it again. However, I would like to spend more. Can you talk to them directly on AIM or something?

search around your profile, there is a "increase my spend" button somewhere in there. They ask you how much etc.
 
hit $250 five times and you'll automatically will be upgraded to $500 limit.

In my experience it goes 50 250 500 750 2000 then anything above this you have to contact them (not totally positive on this though), few times close to the max for each.
 
ok, thanks for the answers. I got one offer going really strong, which is hitting $250 after 12 hours. Should I use another acc. for this offer which also got a daily spend limit of $250?
As i understand it, you only got to have one account on facebook ads. And I don't wanna be kicked in the face for using two accounts.

You can have two accounts, its been discussed before. I have two. Diff credit cards and different currencies, but that was my choice. Its got nothing with trying to get under the radar.
 
If anyone could offer some advice on this that would be awesome. Basically about 1 week ago I had an account "disabled temporarily" for security reasons. I had it open for about 3 months, never really did anything with it, only had one credit card attached to it and like a coupon. Never really gotten into advertising on facebook. Now anyways after repeated attempts to contact them, I have not heard anything. Now my personal account I have been advertising for some time and have a $250 daily limit on it, but when I tried to add the card that I think was in my other account (not sure, I can't login to check) it keeps saying "Sorry but we cannot approve this transaction at this time" or some bullshit like this.

Is there anyway to unlock this, or a contact that anyone knows where someone will actually respond?
 
adigitalorange - I had a similar issue awhile back. My account was disabled for "suspicious payments activity". Took a few days to resolve, but I believe I started by sending a message from here:

Ads: Billing Inquiry | Facebook


When they responded they wanted to know which cards I used and reasons for using those cards. In a couple days everything was resolved and the account and cards were functional.

Got another reply from Facebook:

Thanks for your response. I took a look at your ads and noticed a few things:

1. You may not rush the user by giving them time limits on receiving an offer or how quickly to expect a response
2. It is not fully disclosed where the personal information is being processed and who is receiving it. I would suggest having your Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy language directly on the destination page.

Let me know if you have any other questions.


It's a download. And in disapproval email they said basicaly that they don't allow downloads. From this email looks like if I comply they will let it through :eek:
