Then prove that Jesus openly and explicitly advocated violence. Forget whether or not it's "more" than the Koran does. Try and prove that he explicitly advocated violence.
Sure thing:
The setup:
Matthew, Chapter 10 is pretty good at this. Jesus gets into kind of a tirade after smoking peyote:
10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
How about kids who curse their parents? As you well know, not honoring your mother and father is right up there with murdering, which is also up there with coveting. Did Jesus maybe say that kids who curse their parents should be put to death? Maybe? Well, yeah! In Mark:
7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
And there are many, many instances where Jesus threatens "eternal torment" to those who don't follow him. That sounds like advocating violence to me. If you don't believe me, I'll chain you in my basement and feed you nothing but rice pudding for decades.
Now, this is just after going over the published gospels. This isn't counting the books that were also written and censored or "lost," by the early church.
