Again, save the world if you like... but I don't live in the middle east, I live in the united states, and last time I checked there weren't a lot of Muslim terrorists running around. I see more Christian extremists in my day to day life myself.

2) Whoever kills a human being, unless it be for murder or for couseing mischief in the land, it is as though he has killed all of mankind and whoever saves alive, it is as though he saved the whole of mankind (5:32)
Above quoted versus of Holy Quran clearly shows the peaceful behavior of religion of Islam. If some bad muslims like Taliban or Osama kills innocent peoples then please don't blame the religion of Islam or the Holy Quran. It was only fault of that bad muslims not the fault of whole religion.

And are you familiar with the concept of addication in the Quran? The later War Verses in the Quran supercede the earlier peaceful ones. Because later (Medina) Mo had the power to kill his enemies, whereas earlier he didn't, so he preached peace.
