A Man Claims to Own 84% of Facebook

Ceglia will get paid off and he will drop the suit. End of story.

Yeah because he needs the money for his other fails and lawsuits.

W/E i would like to see him stand up and get those 84% and then just delete facebook. From IM perspective its awesome to have something like FB. But from a privacy aspect ... O M F G. Especially when you take a look on all the data leaks the epic programming mistakes etc etc. Data like that shouldn't be "secured" by some teenagers who have no clue ...

But w/e :)

Hmm Last FB valuation I read in the WSJ was like 14 Billion Bucks -- so even if Zuck only owned 16% of that... well in round numbers he'd still be *MFR

* Mighty Fuckin' Rich

Considering that Zuckerberg stole pretty much everything about Facebook from other people's work and ideas, I find this a bit more credible.

I know money is great and all, but if I were granted 84% ownership of Facebook, I'd delete every fucking bit of data it ever had and ruin the internet for months. Every Facebook Connect compatible site broken, everyone's personal information lost, the #1 visited site on the internet and everyone's primary internet time-waster completely gone forever. Sometimes epic IRL trolling takes precedent over financial gain.

yeah, and sometimes people get confused and can't figure out who is trolling who anymore

And what is this face book that you speak of?

It it like Woot being sold for $110 million cash?

Or like MySpace before it became worthless? Oh, or remember when ICQ was sold for $300 million?

Oh, remember when I-Omega owned the Borelli patent and made Zip Drives and their stock went from like $0.01 to like $100.01?

There's been a lot of money spent to buy technology that becomes totally worthless.

Social Media Anarchy.

yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah!

The contract has been released. Take a look...

businessinsider said:
BOTTOM LINE: Unless Facebook can easily prove that this contract is a forgery or get the lawsuit dismissed on a technicality, it will likely lead to a settlement that will make Paul Ceglia a very rich man. The Winklevoss brothers never had a piece of paper showing any agreement with Mark, and they got $65 million. It's not inconceivable that Paul Ceglia could walk away with a lot more than that.

Analyzing The Facebook Contract: Is Mark Zuckerberg Screwed?

I hope the guy gets what he is asking for... what technicalities would exist? Zuckerberg needs to learn the hard way that you don't fuck around with contracts
