About Sick Of This Healthcare Thing

Republicans are against personal responsibility and controlled spending? Sounds about right.

libertarian disclaimer: Of course Democrats are as well, but it's easier to pick on people who CLAIM one thing and do another. The Democrats are mostly up front about their love of big government. Republicans like to claim something else and then fuck you in the ass.

Bush's admin had some screwed up policy as well. The difference is that many conservatives will stand up and call thier own out when they fuck up (the border, prescription drugs, the first bailout, etc). Liberals wouldn't call out BO if the fucker took a shit on the constitution.

They are so blinded by their arrogance and/or ignorance that they will look the other way with the damn ship sinking.

Lookie here! We have an idealist who takes the constitution's word for what it says!

Good point, but we're so beyond that point that there's absolutely no going back. The constitution doesn't give the feds authority to regulate air traffic, automobile mileage standards, education requirements, trading markets, pollution, etc., but they do...

You're absolutely right, hence my being apart of this community. I hope to one day make enough money where I'm not limited on which country I call home. And right again, the constitution does not allow the feds to regulate those things. Maybe if we held our ground when they started taking control of the little shit, they wouldn't be able to steamroll us into a absolute disaster like that of which the Health Care "Reform" will be.

Bush DID take a shit on the constitution with the PATRIOT Act.

conservatives were soundly voted out of office. the people spoke.

Yes, Obama won a huge mandate of....28 states. Wow.

It took a highly suspicious, monstrous collapse of the economy to give The Groveler and his Minions the slim majority they have, and the people immediately started regretting that foolish action.

What just happened in New Jersey and Virginia was your ilk being soundly raped out of office. Nothing like a good house cleaning.

And you can get your tickets now for Part Two, coming to a theater near you in November 2010 where the Dems will be violated so brutally they'll get nightmares everytime someone mentions the words 'universal healthcare'.

The Federal Governement, and for all intensive purposes, the Obama Administration, has ZERO authority to institute a health plan.

A common malapropism is "for all intense and purposes", (also, "for all intensive purposes") a result of the original phrase being misheard and repeated. The word "intense" is used here incorrectly; "intense" is used in English to indicate a degree of intensity, i.e., "As the afternoon passed, the fire grew more intense."

Suggestion

It is important to avoid malapropisms as far as possible, as some people take them as a hallmark of ignorance and lack of education. If you have problems with to all intents and purposes bear in mind that in that expression intents is redundant. Use one of the alternatives suggested above.

Now maybe you can respond to my post in regards to the subject at hand instead of correcting minor grammatical ignorance that had no impact on a persons ability to understand what I was getting at. Just a thought. But seriously, thank you for showing me that. Learn something new every day.
