How do you define an affiliate network?

To me, CJ is an affiliate network, and AzoogleAds is a cpa network.

Many of the "CPA networks" label themselves affiliate networks. Is that good enough? May be the term "affiliate network" has become all inclusive while CPA network is the sub-category -- but who knows.

Yes, just wondering if you were including them, because the "traditional" affiliate networks all seem very stable, so I didn't think they would be a risk of folding this year.
