I don't care about you, but it's common knowledge you aren't 21 and I wanted to know if they "cracked" down like they said they would. Thanks.
ASE was lots of fun. It was great to meet the some of the networks and affiliates in person.
The Advaliant boat trip and dinners were awesome. I tried out nickycakes recommendation of Montien for Thai food and it was pretty good.
I also went to Giacomo's in the north end with a friend from college and had some really great Italian food. mmm lobster ravioli and calamari.
I also met Wes Mahler and the rest of the Prosper202 team and it turns out we're both working on a similar idea for an iPhone app. Even though we might be competitors if we end up both finishing the apps and releasing them, he was nice about it and told me he liked the layout of my app and I should keep working on it.

Boston can definitely be pretty damn lame. I don't drive anymore so didn't realize my ID expired and a few of the bars were giving me a hard time. It also didn't help that we were there on three of the lamest days of the week.
Forgot to mention that the alcohol on the exhibit floor was a bit weird for me, especially when someone at a booth (that will remain nameless) stops in the middle of his conversation with me and says "you know, I'm feeling a bit buzzed right now. Want some beer?". 2PM ladies and gents...
Philadelphia! At least theres after party clubs and Atlantic City is only 45 minutes away
It always has been - whenever we poll people, Vegas gets the majority of people picking it.
I vote for ASE Detroit.

Man all I can say is I was happy to get home. Best show for me yet... but not for the size of the quality but rather the longer you stay in the biz the more people you know. I probably spent 6 hours trying to make it 200 feet on the exhibit hall floor just because every 2 steps I'd run into someone I know or someone I wanted to. I love to talk shop and ASE/W are one of the best places to do it.
Seriously if you've never been to a show I highly, highly, highly suggest you get to one. It'll really broaden your knowledge of what truly is possible in this industry. I feel I know quite a bit, however I probably picked up 2-3 new ideas to make money at the show.
Oh and on a side note my liver is happy I'm home.
