Anyone use em?
I'm looking to get a new one, but not your typical buzzer one. Looking for something more soothing and natural. Any1 have those sunlight alarms?
I have a soundspa alarm clock that features simulated sunrise.
It also has a blue lcd light that you can use to project the time on your ceiling and features nature sounds on a timer to help you get to sleep as well.
This thing is sweet, got it at the linens n things bankruptcy sale.
I put on the ocean sound and it feels like i'm in a hut on the beach, because the blue light on the ceiling feels like moonlight when your eyes are closed.
Then the thing gradually turns on your lamp over 10 minutes and wakes you up to the sound of nature sounds, alarm clock, or radio.
Very cool, get one!
If I were to buy another one I'd get one that was also an ipod dock/mp3 player so I could plug my ipod or blackberry into it to play music.
Also that axbo alarm clock looks sweet!
The wii fit told me that you should wake up during a light sleep cycle, and the average cycles last about 90 minutes, so try to wake up after 7 1/2 hours of sleep.
Another thing you might want to try out if you have trouble getting up is holosync technology by Centerpoint Institute.
You listen to it with stereo headphones and it puts you in different states.
So instead of setting your alarm 30 - 45 minutes earlier than you want to get up, and then fighting with the snooze button for an hour, you set the alarm for 30 minutes before you want to get up, then when you wake up, shut the alarm clock off and put the headphones.
You will fall back asleep but you will wake up as soon as it is done completely energetic and ready to go.
I've been using this off and on and it's really interesting stuff.
