Oops. My accountants last name is Anderson.
I was happy with that..Hello Mr. Anderson..
<<< Matrix Fan.

heh. Anderson is also the name of the large accounting firm that helped Enron hide their losses

some of you guys don't realize that what the big earners love more than anything is (..surprise.).. earning
they can afford a nice house and an expensive ferrari, but making money brings happiness in its own way
the way I see it, I would rather work my ass off for the next 20 years then sell everything and live off the hedge fund's growth percentage

I think a good point to make is that the people that get RICH don't think about SPENDING money... but SAVING money. It's the mentality of accumulating wealth.

An older guy I work with... he's about 70 and semi-retired (mostly consulting) tells me one day, "Rob... I'm rich... and do you know why?"

He goes on to tell me that the main reason is because he's driven around in a Honda Accord for 15 years. He could have afforded something much better. Instead, he put all that extra dough into stocks and now the guy is filthy rich. He thought about SAVING money... not how he was going to spend it.

Every penny counts. That's how businesses make money too. How can we become more lean? Where can we cut costs without losing productivity? How can we become more efficient.

I can see the argument about, "now that I have all this money how am I going to spend it." But personally, I just want to live comfortably and accumulate wealth. I'll know when it's time to spend some:thumbsup: .

Agreed, and then there are the people that think since their business is doing well they can go finance all of the toys they want and it all catches up with them eventually. This happened to a guy I knew growing up. He pulled his way out of it, but his business almost went under.

"If you can't pay cash for it, then you probably do not need it" The old owner of the company I work for always told me that.
