The band is tight as ever, but it takes David Yow a couple songs to get going.

This is one of the best small club acts I have ever seen, I think around 1997.

I danced on a table for at least 30 minutes during the show. Maybe longer. I might have been under the influence of something pharmaceutic.
 


This is great. I love bands like this. Mr Bungle comes to mind.

Jesus Lizard is fucking awful. I saw them with Rage in the 90's. The crowd was so pissed at how bad they were the front gates broke from people rushing the stage. They left early needless to say.

Absolutely love them.

You need to check last Brand New effort - 'Daisy' (2009). I think they were heavily influenced by JL. And Nirvana.
