Anyone Play WOW

It took me 7 years of EverQuest (quit 5 times)
3 years of WoW (quit 3 times)

To be able to say I'll never play another MMORPG again, stay the fuck away.

I only played WoW for like a week or two, but I did play this game called Asheron's Call for a long time. Made some good money selling in game stuff, accounts, and making websites for clans.

I don't know why I'm admitting this... but I play, not as much as I used to but I still play a few nights per week. I got the free trial last summer when I was bored and was instantly hooked. Like a lot of other people, I used to make fun of people who played WoW, but it's actually a really fun game. Just don't let it run your life.

Had to post this...

I don't know how anyone could manually grind to the highest level... The first time I played it I gave up at level 40, boring as shit and definitely not addictive. Shortly afterwards I discovered botting (it's the blackhat within me) and soon had many characters at the highest level :)

The thing about WoW is that the game starts at the highest level really (I say highest level because there's been an expansion since I played and I can't even remember what the highest level is, 80 I think)... Personally, whenever I play it the novelty wears off after a few months and I quit, then about 6 months later I start getting strong urges to play again (and usually end up starting a new character), I'm going through one of those periods right now.

Played it for about 6 months after it first came out, really great game, but such a time waster :/ just went cold turkey one day thank fuck. There are a couple of people I know that started playing when I did (3+ years ago?) that are still on it now for 4 - 5 hours+ every day...

Its really just a glorified chat program where you can run about and kill shit :)

I used to play Diablo 2 which is such an epic game but never got into WOW thank god. I do not want to get sucked into that because i know I would

i wish i could get back the time i spent playing WoW and Counter Strike collectively in total hours they probably equal about a year of my life (/played on my WoW account was about 65 days) counter strike doesnt have a counter but i wish it did.

such a waste of life : (

wow... kind of amazing all these people have played WoW. no wonder wickedfire is full of virgins.

I tried to get addicted to WoW and failed also. It's just another generic mmo. Even when it came out it was generic. Polished, but generic.
