Anyone Running Grants Warning

LOL, no offense but this is almost as ridiculous as people who frame ringtone landers to cut out the pricing info. Just fucks it up for all the "legit" affiliates.

You're a fucking retard if you think you're right in this situation..

First off, by telling them to buy it more than once is just STUPID. It's like going to the music store and buying the same CD 2 or 3 times because you heard they have really good songs on it. WTF? Who the fuck does that??

You know what happens when these idiots see multiple charges on their credit card from the same advertiser? INSTANT CHARGEBACK. Do you have any idea how much that costs? Figure price of the per month charge PLUS $20-$30 Visa/MC chargeback fee, for each of the charges. Not to mention they wouldn't even have to argue it with their CC/bank because multiple charges at the same time look like fraud anyway, so the chargeback is almost a guarantee.

When you send sales/leads to the advertiser, I'm glad you're thinking about quality on where they came from, but you are a fucking asshole for even thinking for a second that you're right here. Either send one fucking join or don't send any.

In fact, pm me your full name so I can make sure you never promote for any of my grant offers ever.

And all of you telling him he's right, you're all a bunch of retards too.

Learn how the whole game works or get the fuck out of it.
Jesus, I re-read the OP after this post and I read it completely wrong. I thought it said they wouldn't give the leads for coming from the same LP, not IP. Haha. Fuck.

I think its possible that the user sees a grant offer, and the user thinks, "Holy shit, I'm about to get a $10,000 check for nothing" then the user starts getting all of his/her friends to come over and get on her pc to sign up for the offer. of course, they are all on welfare and uneducated. That would give you 6 leads from the same IP. Then again, I could be full of shit.

I have one affiliate manager in particular that I don't want seeing my sources, because I know they pass it on (have asked me in the past to reveal my sources) so I started blanking it for that reason.

And then it just became a force of habit, so even with the networks I trust completely like C2M I still blank it almost as a reflex.

If people want more of something, they will update the QTY. If they run through the order process multiple times, that's more of a chance for charge backs. If I were the network, I would scrub them as well and notify the advertiser (who would probably keep the money instead of refunding it, but at least it would be the right thing).

I don't get it. You convince a person to sign up for the same exact offer twice? How in gods name do you do that? And WHY would you do that? And why the fuck would someone fill out a sales form twice?

Or do you convince them to sign up for 2 different offers, both run by the same advertiser?

2 completely different situations. The first is just retarded. The second would be OK.

That's not a good way of doing things.. you are putting your self in a situation where the network could scrub all of your leads because you are not being honest.. your LP doesn't necessarily give away your method and shows the advertisers that you aren't generating leads from non-approved sources.. and if you said that network is stealing your ideas then you are stupid for running traffic there anyways!

You're clueless.

Because they think filling it out once will get them a $12,000 check so they can buy a $50,000 Jacob Timepiece and new rims for their ride. So filling it out twice would get them $24,000 to buy 2 Jacob Timepieces and even bigger rims.

The network in particular has 100% exclusive campaigns. It's run with them or don't run at all and they're profitable enough that I'm willing to put up with their bullshit for the cash.

As to having all the leads scrubbed, it hasn't happened. I haven't had any advertiser even complain about it. I prefer to play it safe when it comes to letting advertisers know how I promote their stuff.

edit: and absolutely 100% of what I do is whitehat, so I'm not trying to hide anything shady.

the latest version of T202 has the option to rotate URLS when your building your campaign

also there is the offers rotation script. That is an alternative if built-in option doesn't properly work. But you will not be able to determine which offer converts better whenever you use built-in option or rotate.php script. You will have to do it manually checking stats on each network.
