Anyone using ServInt? 8hr tier 2 ticket response time normal?

My first couple days with ServInt... not looking good.

Stupid issues, long response times, tier 1 techs not getting err dun, seem a bit oversold almost.

This the norm?

Never used them, but probably the norm for something 'oversold'. You try google-ing them, particularly mapped to site:webhostingtalk.com ?

Oh yeah, only gave them a shot based on good reviews... I have vps' at just about every major provider there is just to keep things spread out... could be that I've been spoiled I guess, but I figured these guys would be on par.

What kind of issue are you having though, is your server down or something like that?

Yup. Uptime monitor says things are a go, though can't access any sites, root panel, nothing...not even through my vpn/proxy, so it's not an ip issue.

I used Servint years ago, the techs were arrogant so I moved on to another firm. They always had a good rep, although they are just another host afaict.

If you're still down and they still haven't got back to you by now, go ahead and send in your cancelation notice, especially since its your first couple days.

Hmm I've had them for a while with no problems and close to 100% uptime. Haven't dealt with their techs much though.

In the short time I used them the tech support was great, friendly and very helpful. Can't say anything bad about it.

I've been with Servint for over 10 years. Have no problem with their support whatsoever.

I'm with servint. I like their service, usually super fast and gets the job done.

Depends what your issue is.
