Just got the Plum Card with 2% cash back and no pre-set spending limit. But wondering if anyone else has suggestions on Credit Cards with points since I spend Crazy amount of money a year

I also have the plum card and have been using it a lot. Another one to check out is the schwab visa card with 2% cash back. I applied for mine about a week ago.

I used to be a fan of Amex but they're getting sooooo bad. They keep cutting our credit and then denying charges all the time. I'm going to be looking for a new card shortly.

ive liked the Jetblue Amex card. Only $20,000 to earn a flight anywhere jet blue flies. Very few black out dates if any.

Really like my Plum card. Racked up quite a few 2% bonuses this year, but it's nice to know I can extend the payment time when I have to go hit up clients for money.

How much revenue were you guys making when you applied for the plum because I understand they are looking for six figs a year?

Still a fan of Starwood AMEX. The trick is you just wire them money ahead of time so it's not like a credit limit issue. Then you rack up points. Admittedly, my first month on AMEX was absolute hell. Hours on the phone a day. But now it's nice.

This is what I found out about the Plum. They advertise it as a no limit card but they do have a 'soft limit' or whatever they call it. They gave me $50k soft limit when I first started using it and wouldn't let me charge above that. They did let me pay it off ahead of time twice and then told me that I can't do that either.

I also found out that the soft limit increases by the previous payed off balance divided by 2 (this happens only if you hit a new high balance). So if you pay off a balance of $50 they increase your 'soft limit' by $25k.

This info is from last Sept. so it might not be relevant anymore.

Hi Friend's
Many credit card offers of 0% intro APR are also offers to individuals with good credit. Borrowers with less than perfect credit are often given these credit card offers as well but their interest rate after the intro period is often higher on the credit card. Balance transfer credit card offers are also often offered to credit worthy consumers. After much research, you'll learn for yourself how important good credit is towards getting the best credit cards.

No kidding!?

p.s.
Fuck off with your aff.link, that's not how we roll here

i love my plum card, its golden compared to my shitty platinum BofA card where they would just reject all large charges even if i called them ahead of time.

that 2% can really add up if you spend alot on ppc

service is great too, just call during the day, because they outsource to call centers at night and i cant understand a thing that they are saying.

do you ever have problems with them denying charges from adwords, fb etc?

Amex keeps fucking me with Starwood credit decreases. Prepaying via wire is getting old, but the points are great. I need to find something new as well, at least for some of my charges. I hate paying straight out of my bank acct and missing out or playing the wire transfer pre-pay game with them.

never, that was one of the main reasons i switched. I would call B o f A before every large charge and 50% of the time it would get declined anyways.

It goes through ever single time with the plum

I use both the SPG Amex and the JetBlue Amex.

The JetBlue Amex is good for me because my points never expire and you get double TrueBlue points when you book a flight with the card. I've already got 2 free roundtrip flights left so it works out great. I only fly with them anyway so I like it best.

For SPG I went from regular SPG member to Platinum in a few months, but thats because my father transferrs half of his points to me because he can't possibly use them up himself, so I just got lucky with that. But room wise it makes the most sense and I don't know how I've survived without it for so long.
