I really enjoy Acidie's sarcasm and all other gems here but guys... really... he is a blonde-haired man with muscles... for almost 99% of the time it's nearly the exact equivalent of blonde girl with big tits you can see in the video above. Do you expect him to have at least some knowledge and understanding of how computers work? (because if he had such knowledge, he would not agree to play in such a movie)

Michael Mann is super talented. Did some breakthrough stuff with that Tom Cruise flick Collateral back in the day.
Fell asleep halfway through it. Didn't bother to try again. It was dumb but not terrible from what I saw. Just another bullshit cookie cutter completely predictable movie.
I enjoyed the movie, 50% of my enjoyment comes form watching it, the other 50% from people not able to work out if I'm being serious or not.

It's caused a huge stink since the girl, who is 3 years old, is a native Thai and Kiopa_Matt is a westerner.
The local CM media is going batshit over it with headlines like "Fulung dog attacks Thai child" and "Fulung should face the death penalty for attack on Thai child".
A fulung for anyone who doesn't know, is a Thai word for Westerner.
The media in CM is using this to push the agenda that white people should be kicked out of Thailand, which had been a growing movement after the coup.

Found my way back to this thread after watching this movie last night.
- Shitty plot, unnecessary and terrible American accent from Hemsworth, Asian chick with SHITTY Engrish accent who has so many fucking lines in the movie WHYYY?, hacking scenes with mostly nonsensical combinations of commands or terminology.
- Checking the guys USB stick for an windows file .inf that is supposed to auto run when plugged into a Linux system, wat.

I'm beginning to think they do this on purpose, like to stop retards from attempting to attack the address or something. But I'm probably reading to much into it and the writers are just dumb.
Just watched the first episode, reminded me of Fight Club with the voice over, the slide into insanity and the "let destroy the credit records".
It will be interesting to see where they go with it, would be an interesting twist if it turns out he was just a pawn for E Corp and they just used to him to resolve an internal power struggle. But they wont go that way, he has to be the hero so it will turn out to be some major conspiracy or some shit.
Going to watch the rest though, it's a decent production and at least the main character is a complete fuck up, not some super hacker with all his shit together and mad bitches on his dick.
