Did everyone forget it is Easter? This wasn't a fucking earthquake! Jesus just crash landed!!!

Don't take this too seriously but this is a good reminder that you Californians are lemmings. Your whole life you've been told that the Big One is probably going to hit one day and you must pretend every day it's not going to happen.
I think i understand the mindset. It's the whole "well, it cant' be too bad if everyone else is doing it" mindset. Millions live in CA so it's ok.. if you go down so will they.
So one day when your legs are crushed beneath your house and you're screaming "Why oh Why is this happening to me" maybe you'll remember the warnings been out for decades.
It's the same mindset for why so many cities in the world are built next to active volcanoes. It's our built in lemming instinct I suppose.

Lemmings who woke up and skateboarded down to the beach to go surfing, hopped in their buddy's boat to wakeboard, then caught a night snowboarding session to finish the day.
I fucking love being a lemming
Been told what by whom? The media? Same guys who warned us the Year 2000 computer bug was going to shut down the banks and businesses everywhere? How about swine flu warnings? How many suckers heeded that and moved their family to some remote island somewhere and stuck their heads in the sand? Who are the lemmings here, the ones who believe, or the ones who don't?
Precisely.
He called out "3:33PM ET"...he was off by 3 hours and then on top of that 7 minutes off of his precise 3:33 prediction.
As someone said, you must be drunk.
Anyway in my first post I meant to say "don't take this too personally".

Just curious, where do you live?
I'm in Michigan. It's not as exotic as Cali, but still a beautiful state.
And I just remember in multiple science classes learning about the tectonic theory. And during that period they always threw in future estimates about how the continents are projected to move. Half of California is projected to split off the US mainland and end up in the sea eventually - somewhat quickly on a tectonic time frame. It's one of the most tectonically active areas on earth.
Anyway, the tectonic projections could be outdated by now, or just wrong. But with the regular earthquakes, mud slides, and wildfires I'd think 2x about living in CA anyway.
Dont forget bankrupt government, horrible and getting worse school system, extreme property values and taxes. Despite all this, I still love living in California.I'm in Michigan. It's not as exotic as Cali, but still a beautiful state.

Haha, how quickly it's going to happen on a tectonic timeframe is irrelevant to us.
Are you fucking joking? You're from Michigan, and you're talking crap about Cali?I'm in Michigan. It's not as exotic as Cali, but still a beautiful state.
