This was no real surprise. Being completely under sea level, and eventually having a Cat 5 hurricane hit, was just a matter of time, as well as the aging levees. Was anybody really surprised at this happening?

However, both are overflowing with liberal jackasses and if it wasn't for the shear fact that my entire family lives in CA, I couldn't care less if the whole Left Coast fell into the ocean (Taking Boxer/Feinstein/Pelosi with it)

Retard, as you tell me to "stay on subject", please respond to my assertion that any and all notion of California falling off into the pacific is completely and totally fabricated. Then read over all your responses to this thread (noticing how bad your arguments are along the way), and finally, kill yourself.

I think i understand the mindset. It's the whole "well, it cant' be too bad if everyone else is doing it" mindset. Millions live in CA so it's ok.. if you go down so will they.

LA gets a major earthquake ever 20 years or so. Historically, California's earthquakes are second tier to anything like you saw recently in China. I'd have to check the stats, but I'm not sure California has ever been hit with any earthquake of 8 or higher. The worst two were probably in San Francisco, and the earlier one that destroyed the city did so because everything caught on fire. Hell Chicago burned down the same way without an earthquake.

You should really be preaching to people in Alaska and Missouri. The two biggest earthquakes in the US happened in Missouri and #'s 3-10 happen in Alaska.

I'll take my chances in California, even though my 97 grandpa in SC still thinks we are going to fall into the ocean.

You are probably correct. I should use The Google more before posting anything even though I had a million disclaimers saying "this may not be considered the case anymore" or "this could be bad science".
