Looks like you steers and queers have more or less dug your way to energy independence.

Europe left behind as shale shock drives America’s industrial resurgence - Telegraph

Massive geopolitical implications and thank gawd you're not going to need to (cough) lean-on your muslim 'allies' so much in the future (though interesting to see how this all pans-out).

Congratulations. I always had high hopes the USA would get back on it's feet (trillions of debt not withstanding).

You're congratulating us for stepping up FRACKING???

Your own source admitted it... The uptick is due to fracking. This won't stand, (or certainly should not) as we've already polluted too many groundwater deposits with fracking, and it gets worse, not better, the more it is attempted.

People should be able to do whatever they want with their private property, right?
as long as it doesn't affect the freedoms of other ppl ;)

So no getting shale oil/gas that causes earthquakes is not cool. But of course it's up for interpretation.

This is exactly why it is better not to identify yourself with any set of believes, philosophies, political parties, opinions. But of course it is really scary for most ppl to stand on their own, naked of all the identity.

Better defined, the property of other people.

It's cool if the people undergoing earthquakes

1. Can prove cause
2. Accept restitution

or

3. Prefer cheap gas to earthquakes.

If you lacked any identity, you wouldn't be able to act. You'd be a vegetable.

The problem for nihilistic philosophies is that they can't defend their ideas philosophically. It's essentially babbling.

It's posts like this that make it impossible to take you seriously as an anarchist.

It seems to me that fracking would most likely be cheaper than occupying entire countries.

Fracking is due to start soon near my hometown. When I was there recently, I saw some opponents of fracking, they relied on emotion instead of facts or logic. Should I inform them that they have an American ally, Luke?

I guess I could have worded that a bit more carefully... But nothing I said noted a preference for solving the problem through government force.

The use of "it certainly should not stand" was in reference to people not allowing it via the slightly-free market. I know I wouldn't buy gas from a company who who is a known Fracker. THEN, after the customer resistance to companies who frack, there is the affected property owners and all of their lawsuits against these companies... THEY will not let this stand, of course the government will be all to happy to look the other way.

So to clarify my sloppy 4am post, This cannot stand because:

A. Customers will resist companies that sell fracked fuel.
B. Constant lawsuits from distressed property owners will make the companies who offer fracked fuel too expensive.

I repeat, this cannot stand.
