Cop Assholes shoot dog

It would have been put down way way or another being the breed that it was most likely.

But by no means am I one of those people that would prefer an animals life over a humans.

24 deaths last 2 years all young unarmed guys, 21 of them not guilty or suspected in anything.

Come on , you can't watch that video, see a dog TIED UP THE WHOLE TIME that gets executed, and seriously have a problem with the people who are upset by it. Discharging the firearm was orders of magnitude more dangerous than that dog was in its current state.

2. There is no sound, so you don't know what the officers are saying to dispatch on their radios or on their cell phones. So it is very likely that they were ordered to shoot the dog, and didn't just decide to do it for the hell of it. If they shot the dog without prior instruction, there would have be an investigation into it.

3. You don't know what the history of the dog was, only that it had been growling at neighbor kids - according to the article. There were probably other circumstances leading up to this besides just growling. The dog may have bitten someone or several people for all we know. That article didn't smack of hardcore investigative journalism.

4. How many things have you done in your life that could be taken out of context OR made to look worse that it actually was if someone showed a 6 minute clip to the internet.

Stop and think first, before making stupid (and threatening) comments about the job those officers performed and / or the circumstances surrounding those events. You weren't there and you have extremely limited facts.

It's easy to judge these guys by this video. They killed a dog that was restrained, execution style. Nobody goes and orders police officers to simply shoot a dog in public after it's been restrained.

We see this type of shit all of the time and you get responses like this asshole who shot and killed a dog because he "didn't feel like chasing it anymore after 30 minutes of the dog not coming to him when called."

The "limited facts" are right in front of us. If this was someone being beaten by a cop after they had handcuffs on the guy, guess what would happen? You've got it: an investigation and a lot of pissed off people.

Exactly. Like I said - if this were some random guy who had been handcuffed and THEN beaten, these cops would be suspended while an investigation is under way and there would be a bunch of pissed off people. The difference is this dog was KILLED after being restrained.

Cops already do this. It rarely makes the news. I have a good friend who watched his good friend executed by multiple cops in my city. His friend was unarmed and never made a single provocative gesture.

Multiple shots. Never made the news.
 
If the comments above are referring to me in regards to calling for harm on a human, It was obviously a joke about karma.. karma does tend to be a bitch though so maybe something no so drastic but that hurts just as much as the dog and it's owner felt.

This was completely uncalled for, look at 3:01 - 3:10 dog looks away, then ultimately lies down which is the most un-threatning pose an animal can take. It was scared, trying to make peace and these fuckers executed him while being restrained and docile.. not even a growl or a bark.

it's a dog, not a possum. it's a living creature that's capable of emotion with distinct and identifiable states. It serves, protects and plays many roles for people, like hunting, herding, protection, assisting police and military, companionship, aiding handicapped etc which is why is universally considered man's best friend.

I don't understand how some people can be so cold hearted, I'm sure there's plenty of cops who view this, especially those in k9 units, who want to punch these pieces of shits' teeth out.

yeah i stopped watching these kinds of videos a long time ago. Just makes you pissed off and ruins your mood so why bother.
