I agree, you should have the right to save your child, but a 3 year old is pretty much helpless, why would you run outside and call 911 instead of immediately trying to save your helpless child? A fire can spread in a matter of seconds. If you are going to save your kid do it right away, right? And not run outside and save yourself first?

Im sure if there was video it would show the guy being all irrational and endangering himself which would also cause the firemen to put themselves at risk to save him. If there was no chance the kid was still alive I say being tazered was appropriate.
